Easy walk into Verona. Take the train to Porta Vescovo and it’s a short 600m walk. There was a great social vibe and lots of travellers to meet!

The location was great if you want to be a little away from the busy main street and the setting in the ruins of an old church was fascinating. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hostel was clean and orderly. I loved the closet with a shelf that came with each bed so you could easily store your stuff.

Domus Clugiae is located in the centre of Chioggia, 24 km from Venice. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and the ferry port with direct links to Venice is a 10-minute walk away. The room was spacious, the bed large and very comfortable. The location was also walking distance from the train station and from the ferry station. Breakfast was rich in both sweet and salty options. The staff was very kind.

Sun Marco 10 minutes, Rialto 15, Fundamente Nuovo 20.
