Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodation located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Cheran the manager was very pleasant and helpful. The location was very nice with beautiful view of the lagoon. Short walk to several restaurants and the Aitutaki Private Resort for coffee or dining with a great view.

Matriki Beach Huts provide absolute beachfront accommodation on the sunset side of the island. You can enjoy snorkelling from the beautiful white sand beach right at the front of the property. Amazing location on a fantastic part of the lagoon teaming with marine life. Great facilities that blended in with the environment. Riki and Mathias were brilliant hosts. Nothing was a bother and they were really helpful in sharing local knowledge. Boat trips with Mathias were incredible going to all the best snorkelling spots, visiting some of the motu and lunch was delectable.

Set alongside Aitutaki Lagoon, this resort offers 3 beachfront bungalows. Aitutaki Seaside Lodges is located in Amuri, 5 minutes' drive from Aitutaki Airport. Perfect location, the beach is there just for you. You can use the kayaks too. Note, you must have your snorkeling equipment if you plan to snorkel.

Set in Amuri, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Resort Tava'e offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. There was not any food service at the resort but they had a wonderful kitchen that enabled us to cook meals ourselves

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Rangiriri Vacay is located in Amuri. This holiday home provides free private parking and free shuttle service. Kura is the ultimate host! We were welcomed with a traditional flower garland and were shown the island before we were dropped off at Rangiriri Vacay. The unit is all you need for a nice stay in Aitutaki it's well centred in town and was very clean. We even had fresh coconuts waiting for us and the room had bottled water and papayas. Kura went above and beyond in also helping us rent scooters and driving us to the rental place. We're keen on coming back some day and we will 100% check availability at Rangiriri for that trip.

Where do I even start… Nik is by far the best host we have ever had in all our years of travel! He checks in with you everyday to make sure you are having the best time possible. If you need anything- he says “leave it to me” and takes care of it all! He went above and beyond to help us find out important information when we ran into issues with our flights home. I can truly say that he is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and we cannot thank him enough for making us feel like family! We were also lucky enough to be able to upgrade from the garden units to one of the beach front bungalows for 4 out of the 5 nights of our stay - which was fantastic! The amenities at Sunny Beach Lodge go on and on: Free airport transportation, free wifi, free toiletries, free use of kayaks and bicycles, and a laundry service! It is also located right next to a convenience/takeaway store, and a 24 hour store that sells food and alcohol a short walk away! I could go on and on about how great this place is - so please, do yourself a favour, and stay here when you find yourself in the paradise that is Aitutaki! You won’t regret it! Comprising free bikes and a garden, Heaven to Sea Beach Villas is a recently renovated accommodation in Amuri located close to Aitutaki Beach. This place is kept immaculately clean and manicured, from the villas, bathroom and hardwood deck floor, to the gardens and the beach (the team rake and tidy the beach for you each morning) and the villa is appointed with every little touch you could imagine - the UV after filter, air conditioning, outside shower, kayaks and bikes. The photos do not do it justice! Mere is the most spectacular host who has thought of everything and delivers the most astounding service - very responsive to every question or request. I was part of a larger group who stayed at a number of resorts, hotels and villas across the island. I got to see them all - some more expensive & some cheaper - none of them came close to Heaven to Sea. We felt very lucky to have found this wonderful place, run by wonderful people who go the extra mile to make everything perfect!
