Historic 18th century farmhouse near the International Organizations and downtown. Beautiful place and a great service from the owner. Affordable and very good breakfast, recommended. The building is very old but very well maintenained and renovated, I love to live in such places feeling the spirit of the old city.

The property was beautifully finished and modern, the outdoor seating area was so lovely and the views were breathtaking. The apartment itself is very clean and new. The owners were very welcoming and keen to provide us with any information we needed, as it was out first time Switzerland.

Situated 10 km from Lausanne Railway Station, Cave de Moratel features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. One can immediately spot if the place is a commercial rental or a place is dear to the host and taken care of. We definitely experienced a very cozy apartment, where the hosts dearly care about the facilities and comfort of the guests. We felt like home and Particia and her husband were extremely helpful and thoughtful - for example offering to pick us up from the train station, getting us free transportation tickets to go along the Geneva lake and arranging a welcome wine tasting. Wine by the way is grown and produced right there and can be highly recommended. We had a very memorable and positive stay and would like to say THANK YOU to hard-working and attentive hosts.
