Thornthwaite Farm is set amidst the scenery of the Woodland Valley, in Broughton-in-Furness. Lake Windermere is just 13 miles from the property. Everything - well equipped, clean, beautifully appointed. A really great place to stay.

Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

This mobile home comprises 2 living rooms, 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. The caravan is on a stunning park with its own lakes and lots to do. The caravan was comfortable and very clean. Great price and would definitely return if given the chance. The owners gave great instructions and were only happy to help with any questions we had.
