Unique, very helpful and welcoming accommodation. Me and my family had wonderful time in this resort. The staff were very helpful with informations. The food was one of the delicious meal in Sri Lanka for that Big Thank you to owner’s mother and wife. We can only recommend this resort for your future holiday. The Makulu camp is definetely a hidden gem! We had an extraordinary stay at their place - the staff was great, offerinh so many things to do snd helped us organizing everything regarding transport, the safari etc. The super romantic bonfire dinner in the middle of the djungle at night was a highlight we are lucky to have experienced.

A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

The chief at the restaurant was super good, I wasn’t able to find anyone in Sri Lanka who could satisfy my food needs like this place. staff entirely were very friendly and makes you feel like home. It was one of my best moments in Sri Lanka

A wonderful place set by a little river where I could see monkeys in the trees from my veranda.. Don't get scared of the word tent, it's more like a room with material walls, better than many other rooms I have stayed in. I went on a safari they arranged and their guide/driver was very good. He even sat up chairs and a little table for us in the open when it was time for the breakfast he had brought. After a day on safari it was nice to cool off in the well kept pool at the guesthouse. The food in the restaurant was very good. I really liked the place and I can highly recommend it.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the pool area was nice. They arranged the safari to Udawalawe National Park. The driver took us around the park.
