This cabana in Taganga is really amazing. We had 6 nights here and enjoyed all of them. Taganga itself can be a bit hectic, therefore staying at Bareke Azul on the hillside was just wonderful - only 5 min from centre of Taganga but far enough to get some peace, quiet and wonderful views. Also, one of the owners Ramon is just a really great and friendly host. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Bareke Azul. It’s not a luxury hotel, but considering the price, it’s perfect.

Sabiendo que se va a acampar con baño compartido a un lugar sin electricidad ni agua calienta las instalaciones son muy buenas y completas. La carpa estaba limpia, con colchón en buen estado y ubicada a la sombra de un árbol. Desayuno y cena muy completos, con costo aparte. Contacto muy directo con la realidad del Parque Tayrona. Lugar sin tanto turista en el cual se puede disfrutar del contacto con los ruidos y animales de la naturaleza.

The hotel grounds are simply magnificent! Palm grove, deserted beach - incredible! Before check-in, we were sent clear instructions on how to get to the hotel, including the bus from the entrance. We arrived a little earlier, but they prepared a room for us, which was very kind. The owner told about interesting places nearby and willingly answered all questions. The dinner was very delicious! The room itself was simple, which matched the photo. But everything was clean. A great pool with a wonderful view. We liked everything about this hotel! Especially the silence and the sounds of nature at night. And we met monkeys on the palm trees in front of the hotel!

Its hard to explain how peaceful and beautiful this little spot is. Lots of wildlife sounds at night and very tranquil feeling. Kind and helpful hosts. Gati and Julio were great and the dogs were adorable and sweet. Super close to the park entrance and they provide breakfast so you can get up and get hiking quickly. The spring fed pool is great to cool off in when you get back from hiking. If you get up early and take a walk to the park there's a decent chance you'll see monkeys on the trail.
