The room exceeded my expectations! It was much larger than most hotel rooms I've used in the past. It felt so cozy. I loved the large space. It had tons of floor space, a small dining table, and a huge balcony with a beautiful view of outdoor firepit. The bathroom looked new and was very clean. I also loved that their were two sinks for both my wife and I. The Inn was also walking distance from the Cannon Beach entrance, had free parking, and a decent spread for breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The inn at haystack Rock was terrible. Over priced $245 for a 10 ×12 renovated 1960 beach shack. The pictures do not match room. Motel 6 in Seaside rents for $160. The town of Canon Beach is only 3 blocks long and very walkable. The whole town sites on the beach. You are better off staying the night in Seaside 10 minutes away and just driving over for the day. Room does NOT match the pictures. NO kitchen, nothing but a coffee pot and small refrigerator. Bathroom 6×6. Room 10 × 12. I want my money back. Rate this place at 2 not 8.4.

Meals were great that we ate out.
Meals were great that we ate out. Especially liked the fresh Dungeness crab we had one night at cottage. Brought food with us.
Getting around at night not easy as street signs difficult to read due to poor lighting. Much easier once we drove around in daylight and learned our way.
Walking the beach; going to park; exploring the area.

Expect to pay more on food.
Expect to pay more on food. They tax everything there and you don't get alot for your money. We ate at a pub and they cook your hamburger medium rare and didn't I've us the option to change it. I recommend that you bring your own food if you plan to stay more then 2 days or it will get really costly and there's no close town. We did get to see 2 elk eating on the hillside right next to the road.

We enjoyed staying at Cannon Beach for the second time in two years, actually in the same room. It was a good, quiet location and the room was very nice with everything we needed. Mia Corazon was the best restaurant we visited.

For us Cannon Beach presented some difficulties because I am limited by a disability that makes walking more than a few hundred yards impossible. Apparently signage is required to be low and small. The result was that trying to locate eating places using a car and aided by Google maps was frustrating. Fortunately the city was not crowded with visitors while we were there and on street parking was available. Thus we could park nearby and find places by exploring on foot. Several restaurants are a bit pricey but with some online research one can find others with good food at moderate cost. The people we encountered were all quite friendly and helpful. We were fortunate that during this visit to the coast we had sunny weather. Our visit was during the middle of the week so there were many places that were closed part or all of our visit. Google did not always have correct information about hours of operation.

Loved Webb's Scenic Surf!
Loved Webb's Scenic Surf! It's a delightful family owned & run two story hotel right on the beach. View from our ground floor room was spectacular! The facility was spotless & larger than most similar rooms we've stayed in when traveling. Will definitely return to it!
Beautiful view of the ocean and Haystack Rock, and overlooking the bunnies! Room was beautiful and spacious. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Extremely well equipped kitchens with full size appliances. Everything worked. Plenty of lighting options for full lighting to subtle ambiance. Staff were very courteous. REALLY nice touch to have a trio of red roses with a card for our 25th wedding anniversary...oh, and a few delicious seashell chocolates from a Cannon Beach local shop. Thank you for a memorable stay! We will definitely be back!
Our room was very clean and the staff were friendly. When we were leaving one of the cleaning ladies saw my husband struggling to carry our suitcase down the stairs and run up to help. She offered to carry it all the way to our car. We have never stayed at the north end of Cannon Beach and we really liked watching all the waterfowl in the in the inlet in front of our room. The first night a herd of elk even came and splashed in the water!
We stayed in one of the apartments in the White Heron Lodge, and it was an excellent base from which to explore Cannon Beach and the northern Oregon coast! We loved the fireplace and full kitchen, and appreciated to option to use the murphy bed in the living room. And the view! We had a constant view of crashing waves. We also were within walking distance to lots of things in Cannon Beach.
Very well-appointed and located hotel in downtown Cannon Beach. Rooms are very tasteful and thoughtfully decorated with everything you need. Right on the beach with easy beach access, close to Haystack Rock. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. Pool/spa area is indoors/heated and a real treat. A truly restful, relaxing stay at the beach!
This was a very cute property in an ideal location at cannon beach. There was a very pretty fenced in back garden which we enjoyed sitting in and drinking coffee in the morning. It was pet friendly. Nice and clean. The kitchen was really small but pretty well stocked with dishes, pans, knives, etc. overall very enjoyable.
The location of this hotel is amazing. The view of Haystack rock is incredible. The staff are so friendly and helpfu, especially Zack.I can't fault a thing. The complimentary cookies were so delicious and the food and service at The Wayfarer restaurant was exceptional.
The location of the property was close to the beach and a short distance to all of the activities in Cannon Beach. We enjoyed taking in the local sights and flavors during the week. Neighborhood and property are very quiet letting us truly relax during our stay.
When we checked we were immediately upgraded to new room which was fabulous, we had a view of the ROCK and the surf. This was the last day of our trip in our favorite place, Cannon Beach. Our thanks to the receptionist who easily made this happen!
The property is ideally located across the road to beautiful Cannon Beach. The room was large and had a small area with cups, glasses and coffee maker. Breakfast was very good.
Quiet and quaint. Clean and centered near all
Cannon Beach has to offer. Ocean is right there but is set back on the other side of the street so you can’t hear it
