Located in Sandgerði village, these basic wooden cottages are a 10-minute drive away from Keflavik Airport. Free WiFi is available. I like the whole concept - little lovely private houses as a room to stay. Shared kitchen and bathrooms, all very well equipped and clean. Comfortable to use. The place is located near airport, which was the main reason we chose this place. It was clear that for others it was the same. At 8.30 in the morning all the cars had left already and we had a nice private breakfast :) They had a hot pool as well but not in use. Maybe it's used in a summertime? Would have loved to have a nice morning dip there but they have a collaboration with local pool for their guests instead. We didn't have the extra time to go there, would have enjoyed the quick dip in the premises.

Just 25 km from the iconic Blue Lagoon, these cabins come with free high speed Wi-Fi, a furnished terrace and a hot tub. Little touch on having some basic essentials like coffee, oil and sugar all ready in the kitchen is a rare sight. Clean and nice stay. Hot tub easy to use. Definitely would come back and recommend.

We liked everything, it was like staying at home, a LARGE home :) comparing with other apartments we have been to, that was not just a “hotel room” style, there was a spirit of a live home, rare found. As I have mentioned, the house had a lot of space, very well equipped, kitchen was stuffed with all we needed, beds were comfortable, and there were a lot of lights all over the place. My son was happy fining a PlayStation that he played in the evening. The house was 10 minutes away from the airport, that might make sense if you need to stay a night before departure. Easy check in - check out, responsive and friendly host. Several grocery stores nearby. I would rate it all 5 starts in the review.

Perfect location, close to airport but very quiet neighborhood. House was very clean and had everything we need and more. We loved the kitty too!

Mullivanniga Ghost Town Guest House 10 min from Airport asub Hafniris. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Great location and spacouse home with nice modern kitchen and huge lounging sofa with 3 bedrooms and 6 beds and even a crib. Easy auto check in, nice neighborhood, nice size lot so you dont feel like you're in the city and a hot tub that will have the gamer or puzle mind person at work to figure it out. I did and love the enginuity of it. We planned our first night at Ghost town because it's close to the airport, the bridge between two continents, the blue lagoon and the active volcano. Perfect for starting your adventure across iceland or if you only have a day or 2 layover. It was the perfect start to our 2 week adventure. 😀 Thank you guys

The location of the house and the cozy comfortable bed were excellent with the caring and affectionate. Dogmar family.. We encountered multiple earthquakes during our stay due to the expected volcano explosion, but we immediately got a message from Dogmar family to not to worry saying the house is built to withstand such quakes. Great location and would surely recommend for a great stay.
