Dear Pumba Team,
we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for an amazing and unforgettable stay at Pumba Private Game Reserve in March 2024.
The staff was extremly friendly and accommodating and provided us with the most pleasant stay possible.
We often reminisce about the safari tours with Clio. His experience and respect for the animals impressed us deeply and let us experience the animals in the most special way. He explained a lot about the behavior of the animals. He grew up in this region and has a very deep understanding of the animals and nature in general.
Our highlight was the lion family with their small cubs who bravely played around our car. A big thank you to the best Ranger Clio for making it possible to experience such special moments! We will never forget you.
It definitely wasn’t our last stay at Pumba Private Game Reserve.
See you soon!
Greetings from Germany

The property is close to Grahamstown yet far enough away to be out in the country. Easy access and shady parking. It was also nice to be able to walk in the reserve and a bonus to see giraffe, Nyala, zebra and impala.

Incredible, the lodges were so beautiful and finished to an amazing standard. The location just feels like you’re in a different world, so special. The lodges look over a watering pool so we watched elephants come by every day to drink whilst we ate lunch, amazing!

A truly remarkable African safari experience. The staff were just incredible, warm and welcoming. So many special touches and extra effort into making a birthday celebration the best and most memorable experience possible. Delicious food, great South African wine and the best of the bush. Great game viewing! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something extraordinary!

The staff, guides, game drives, units and meals were all superior. Just make sure your unit is secured when you go away, as we left a window open and the poor staff had their hands full cleaning up as the monkeys managed to get in and had a huge party with my grand-daughter's glitter paint!
