Fabulous stay! Quality furnishing and bedding, spotless, sleek interior look. A prime location with the sound of the sea and seagulls when you open the verandah door. Paula, our friendly host, was there to check us in. Complex is very secure, and car parking felt safe, too. Was our second stay and will definitely come back.

Everything from booking to leaving was exceptional! Nick and Dena go out of their way to make it the perfect stay. We were there for a wedding and were incredibly busy. They were so accommodating and friendly. So many sweet touches and a home filled with love. I would recommend Weavers cottage as the PERFECT holiday spot.

We know Gordons Bay very well as we used to own a property there. It's a quiet delightful village with 2 fabulous beaches, a few great restaurants and bars as well as a working harbour. In nearby Strand village, there is a fabulous fine dining restaurant 'De Brasserie' owned by a local Belgian family of wine producers - utterly stupendous!

The views of the sea from the hotel were exceptional, the hotel was situated in a clean and safe area. Close to amenities, restaurants and the beach , hotel service was great (the lunch and dinner service of the restaurant is a bit slow but the food is good) . Alternatively take a ride along the coast to Betty's Bay, the penguins and Hermanus. Stay 2/3 nights and explore this beautiful part of the Western Cape.

What was so good was that every little thing one might need in a Bed and Breakfast hotel had been supplied, it was so thoughtful too. Seriously good cooked breakfast and so much else on the buffet from juices to cereals,yogurt, toast, jams, a selection of teas and coffees and many other things. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.
