The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The location to Tahoe City and the lake is fantastic. The rates are super reasonable and leave you with money to spend on dinner.

We had a very nice stay. The room was nice and quiet with comfy beds. The locations was also great with nice restraunts and shops up and down both sides of the street the Inn is located on. When we visit the area again we will certainly stay here!
Located in Olympic Valley, 2.8 miles from Squaw Creek Golf Course, Olympic Village Inn Olympic Valley provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue...
This Squaw Valley lodge features fireplaces and spa bathtubs in all of their apartments. Alpine Village is less than a 10 minute drive from the property and guests can enjoy ski-in/ski-out access.
It's very easy to get around. We had no problem finding parking (beginning of April) or getting reservations at restuarants. The visitor center is very helpful! Great location to get to the other little towns and to get to trailheads for hiking and snowshoeing.

It's just too busy.
It's just too busy. It's been overdeveloped to within an inch of its life. Not just Tahoe City, the whole lake. Our trip was September 23. Road works all the way round at various intervals, so driving was from hell.
Far too many "no access" "private beach" "so and so club only" signs. The private beach with our house was around 100 feet long with "no acceess" signs on a fence at either end. Even the jetty had a "access only to so and so boat club past this point" half way down it. The places you can go are inaccessibble due to traffic. As we say in England "It is knackered" Worse for me than a beach holiday in Benidorm and 10 times the price. It must have been a truely remarkable place but as with all accessible places of beauty, the Uber rich and the greedy have ruined it. Far busier even than Lake Como. We went from Tahoe to Yosemite National park, and stayed in the Valley. Nowhere near as busy! Yosemite was less expensive all round too. Probably great if you like crowds and have young kids. The water was lovely. There is a really good Safeway in Tahoe city with a good Thai restaurant opposite. (Vegan options Yay!)

Tahoe City is a lovely old mountain town with immediate access to north Lake Tahoe and nearby ski areas including Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe (Previously Squaw Valley). The town is quite historic and still retains some of its historic mountain charm. Unfortunately, the town has recently been rediscovered by vacationers and now is often overrun by tourists, travelers and skiers. It has become expensive to stay here, and it is hard to find reasonably priced nice lodging and the parking and traffic are often difficult and on weekends downright impossible. On a "good" day it is a 20 min drive to Alpine Meadows or Palisades. When the traffic is bad, these trips can take one-hour plus in each direction! Even with these "warts", TC is still a wonderful place to visit and enjoy all the many wonderful things to do in and around Lake Tahoe.

Cute little town. Ideal location for hiking & kayaking. Shopping was good. Safeway was great to grab extra groceries to prepare dinner. Loved the walking trails -- especially along the river and lake.

Vons in Tahoe City, employees are very rude, customer service extremely poor!
Blue Agave restaurant employees were very personable, adhering to COVID guidelines. Tahoe city Rafting company very accommodating, pleasant employees. Lots of traffic on streets.
we arrived earlier than planned and asked for a possible early check in because we were traveling with a toddler. the owners got in touch with us via text and went right to work to get our rooms ready and we were able to get in and settled. so kind and very friendly! the rooms were clean and very comfortable. we never had to use our car because everything we wanted was right out our door including commons beach and playground. we found our tahoe spot!
This home is the perfect family get away, we will definitely stay again. The view of the lake is beautiful (especially for morning coffee) and the location is central to enjoying the Tahoe City area. The neighborhood is quiet and the home was clean. We especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and 4 bathrooms. All beds that were used were comfortable.
The room was secluded with views to the forest, and a private balcony. Was really private as you couldn’t even see other buildings from the room. even though we didn’t use it, it was fun that the hotel had a tree-top adventure park. The room was spacious and up to date, with a smart Tv. really close to Tahoe City, and yet secluded in the woods.
Old rooms but clean and comfortable enough. Good location right on the lake and close drive to Palisades/Alpine. The continental breakfast was super limited - only some poor coffee, bananas apples and questionable packaged pastry. The breakfast also wasn’t out the second day we stayed. For being a budget motel we were satisfied with our stay!
The hosts were very kind and willing to go the extra mile and gave plenty of accurate and thoughtful recommendations. Very charming setup, especially during the holiday season. Well insulated and heated cottages with ample of space, good beds, pillows and nice bathrooms. Very close to Lake Tahoe (walking distance).
The décor of this boutique hotel was cute, the staff that were there were helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the happy hour beer in the lobby, the bed was clean and comfy, we liked the easy access to our car, and the location to paved trail around the lake and to Truckee River were great!
Very cute place with a modern feel. Perfect location 5 minute walk to everything in Tahoe City. We rented the "Heart Tub" room which was a fun bonus. Bonus: Jake's on Lake behind the Inn had an excellent Happy Hour and lake views.
We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and also the best continental breakfast I’ve had in a while. I appreciated the healthy choices like whole grain bread, smoked salmon, etc.
Very comfortable house with a great location. It's near the main area of Tahoe City, but all the windows face out onto forest. Bathroom in the master bedroom is really nice.
The location was great, right in the middle of Tahoe City just across the street from the sea. And a parking lot available!
The team is very reactive and professional.
Great location for the skiing, the lake, shops and restaurants.
Plenty of space in room. The bed was comfortable.
Just at north end of tahoe city,. Great value.
Nice lodge on the shore of Lake Tahoe. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Rooms a bit dark. Good welcome on arrival. Restaurant good. Dinner good breakfast OK.
Location was my main reason for choosing this hotel, which was good. It's also a pretty economical option in the Tahoe area. The bed was comfortable as well.
