Detroit is becoming a revitalized city with many great restaurants, sporting venues and entertainment venues. Very walkable and increased transit system would make this the perfect city to visit. It's so good to see the re-birth of the buildings and the businesses making this a city vibrant and attracting more visitors each year.

Detroit is a beautiful place to visit.
Detroit is a beautiful place to visit. Most people are relatively friendly. I had no problems, other than the place that I stayed. They had mice and it was a dead mouse in the sink on the second day. The person managing the property came in while I wasn't there. I couldn't cook my Thanksgiving dinner because there was no dining table. So my family had to eat with our plates in our laps. I was told to give a good review and they would give me back half of my money. They lied! I have text messages and pictures.

Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be.
Detroit has come a long way from what it used to be. There is a lot to do around the city. With the Q-line and the people mover being a mode of free transportation, it is much easier to get around if you can park just outside of the downtown area
The location. Close to Ford Field and Comerica Park (15 minutes walk) Safe area and no homeless on the streets in the area. Plenty of traffic in the evening to feel more than safe on a walk home. (Yet not at all disturbing inside the room I had) Yes, the room have its flaws if you have hotel like expectations and it do have a slight smell of smoke from the inside but nothing major. But it is a pretty cheap motel in close proximity to Downtown Detroit. Nearly half the price of the cheapest alternatives in the area
The host, Frontdesk, sent clear, easy-to-follow instructions in different formats. They also conviently re-sent, just before check-out time, the code to open the box for leaving the keys.
It is very nice to have a full apartment rather than just a hotel room. My wife and I especially like having a table and chairs to work on together rather than a small desk with only a single chair as provided by typical hotel rooms.
And the location was great; it was central to much of what we wanted to see in Detroit.
The hotel is definitely going for an industrial chic style and it mostly works. The room was comfortable and it is in a convenient location to explore Corktown and to walk into the downtown. They offer gated parking for an additional fee which they should offer for free given that the area is still a bit rough.
They have a nice fire pit that was fun to sit by in the evening with a drink and chat with some other people.
Detroit was a layover between two legs of a longer trip, so we didn't have much time to explore. That made the location of this hotel very important, as we got to pack in a lot of sightseeing before hitting the road again. The view from our room and from the restaurant where breakfast was served were excellent. The staff was super helpful and accommodating!
Gorgeous property housing one of the best bars, diners, and restaurants I’ve ever been to. The decor overall is very unique. The hotel is centrally located and the bed itself was quite comfortable with nice linens. Normally I do not use hotel toiletries, but the hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner smelled amazing and were very good quality.
For us the location was great. We could walk to everything we wanted to do downtown bars, restaurant, clubs etc. We had thought about booking an airbnb or something but felt like a hotel chain would be more reliable as far as cleaning standards. The room and hotel met our expectations and we're glad we decided to stayed there.
The house is very spacious and clean. The owner is friendly and helpful! The house is located close to the University and it is only a 12 minutes drive to downtown. I really enjoyed our stay at Euish's place. When we come to Detroit again, this is THE place we want to stay. 😁
exceptional quality of the property and rooms. amazing staff. 15/10 experience. Will be back, favorite Hotel ever. The location mixed with the terrific hotel really made this a perfect option for staying in Downtown Detroit. Great room, modern everything, valet parking.
I was in town for my brother's funeral. Most of the family stayed at a hotel in downtown Detroit and paid more for one night than I paid for 2 nights, including tax. It was clean, safe and an excellent location. I would definitely consider again if I am in Detroit.
A last minute booking after another hotel unexpectedly cancelled our reservation. A great hotel, in an excellent location right in downtown Detroit. Big, spacious room with all the necessary amenities. Clean. A coffee shop downstairs and a bar open late.
The hotel is centrally located. It is easily within walking distance of the arena and other entertainment. The room was clean and well stocked. The hotel has a very cozy feel about it. I plan to stay there again the next time I visit Detroit.
One of the best hotels I've stayed at, incredible design throughout, wonderful touches on every corner and a buzzing place in the middle of the city. The only thing is better way finding is needed on the floors. Very easy to get lost.
We really loved our room, the very nice lady at the check in desk hooked us up with a beautiful view when we asked for a nice room. I've stayed there before and will definitely stay here again, love Detroit, everything is right here.
The hotel, staff and room were absolutely amazing. It was within walking distance of restaurants, lounges, and historic sites. I intend to stay there every time I visit Detroit.
Meeting up with friends for the Christmas tree lighting in downtown Detroit. The location was okay but there was nothing open near, meaning restaurants or bars, the hotel.
Best Stay in Detroit you can have. very clean, whole Kitchen, Shower and also Washing machine.
Highly Recommend it to stay at Sonder.
I will come Back.
The hotel is located in a not too busy area close to the tunnel and downtown. So you can walk around. The room was nice and pretty much up to standard.
