At first they gave me a smoking room. This is the second hotel in Tangier that did that, so probably best to specify before that you don't want a smoking room. The staff changed me and were friendly and gracious about it. My room was on the 11th floor and quiet and calm. I felt comfortable and safe as a solo female traveler. There were almost always taxis available when I needed one. There is a small food service area in the lobby which was really convenient and had fresh fruit every day, which I enjoyed. You don't realized how much you need it until you eat kefte three days in a row.

The location was very central and right next to the hop on hop off tourist bus. It was excellent value for its money. I enjoyed the pool with the view and cheap breakfast buffet.
