We had a lovely chat with the host on arrival and sorted out what we wanted to do that evening. Despite rain we got up early and went for a walk on the road heading toward Goudhurst listening to the birds and watching the rabbits and deer. E then had homemade muesli, and our wonderful cooked breakfast arrived exactly when we asked for it. The bedroom and living area were perfect for our overnight stay before travelling on to Gatwick (40 mins away) the following morning.

The room far exceeds other hotels in terms of quality and comfort. From tea and coffee selection to toiletries, the quality was impressive. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom very clean, of a high standard and unlike hotel bathrooms filled with natural light. the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable.pamUnited Kingdom

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and bright and the bed comfy. Breakfast was a highlight!
