The rooms were nice, clean and had enough space for the luggage. Crisps and cookies were free and daily refilled. The bathroom was modern and the shower worked well. The view from the terrace to River Orchy great. Free car park. The waiters in the restaurant were very friendly and also funny (in a positive sense). Food in the restaurant was okay.

Friendly campsite with tents, pods etc in a good location for hiking and seeing the beautiful highlands. Showers and loos were clean. We forgot to bring bedding for the pod but were able to hire it. It was a bit hot in the pod as there is only one small window to the front (very high temps of 25 degrees at the time) but apart from that we were comfortable and the staff were helpful.

A small walk across the road from the Green Welly brings you to the Clifton Cottage Bed and Breakfast (not a hotel) where you will find a warm welcome from Carmen and Tam . After walking for most of the day from Kingshouse on the west highland way . Clifton was a welcome sight indeed. An opportunity to get rest in a comfortable bed and finally get my clothes washed at the midway point . As Carmen said “Dont suffer in silence ,just ask if you need anything “ The washing is what I needed and within a matter of hours I had all my dirt clothes cleaned and dried ready for the big miles day to Kingshouse . Nothing was a hassle and the welcome I revealed was very nice from both Carmen and Tam.
Make sure to read the black book in the room for some great history and advise on what is available locally and information on munros,Scot’s History and of course the West Highland Way . The room has all the tea an coffee facilities you need a few sweet treats a small fridge full of water and juices and fresh milk none of that UHT nonsense extra pillows smart tv decent shower and extra pillows . Breakfast was fantastic as they both knew I had a big walk ahead of me a very large bowl of porridge, coffee ,fruit juices and a fry sent me on my way. Oh and the hosting was great too all good craic with both Carmen and Tam . Remember this is a bed and breakfast not a hotel there is a difference for me the service was the difference a far more pleasant and personal experience a d a good night’s sleep.

Keep in mind that hotel is in the middle of nowhere and you have to relay on their bar& restaurant menus , not a cheap one. The nearest shop is 8 km away in Tyndrum.
Hotel has fantastic view and plenty choices for short or long walking or hiking.

This is a lovely hotel and they have a fantastic setting for people walking the West Highland Way. From the reception staff, to the porters that I met, everybody was very friendly and polite. My room was fantastic and a great collection of tea and coffee and shortbread . Dinner was absolutely gorgeous, good selection of wines and gins! Breakfast, catered for most tastes, I would say. The Hotel was children and dog friendly and it was a lovely experience to stay there. I hope to return!

Very good stay at Bridge of Orchy. There's not much around the hotel but it was a perfect stay on our road trip though Scotland. We arrived around 7pm and were able to have dinner at the restaurant which was good. Complimentary breakfast was very good, a small standard pastry/yogurt spread and a menu to order hot items from. The room was clean, quiet and modern bathroom. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. And the bridge behind the hotel is lovely.
This hotel was way nicer than I anticipated. My room had a spectacular view of the mountains and after hiking all day the bed and view were so comforting. I really enjoyed the little deck and sliding door that came with the room. There are also ample walks and hikes you can do around the hotel, so much to see/enjoy/explore. I had a great time reading in the cozy hotel lounge. The breakfast included with the room was delicious and high quality.
This hotel is iconic in it's setting, we stayed in the relatively new annexes which were well appointed rooms, with ample space for outdoor kit and a beautiful balcony area over looking the river (the the lower tier of rooms). The old hotel building has been modernised and is an ideal space for breakfast and dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and are obviously very much invested in the hotel and it's environs.
Absolutely everything, from the moment i arrived I fell in love with this hotel .
I had booked a garden Room and oh my was I in for a treat. I sat outside at 5am drinking my morning cuppa with the snow capped mountains to my left and the river in front and the bridge to my right ....sheer heaven .
It also stocked my favourite White Company products even down to my favourite scent ...Flowers 🙏🥰😘.thank you xx
Staff were fantastic. Hotel is very well managed. The rooms are modern, functional and well appointed. The location is great with many walking trails and great scenery nearby. The atmosphere in the bar/dining area is fantastic with all of the hikers doing the West Highland Way. The food is good and portions are generous - a great place for Scottish cuisine. Breakfast is very good.
Very friendly staff, provided perfect journey break en route to Skye. The dinner was lovely, especially enjoyed the haggis croquettes.
The breakfast menu had a great choice and the Eggs Benedict were lovely.
The room was very clean and comfortable with luxury White Company toiletries.
Stunning location at the top of the Glen of Orchy...beautiful views.
fantastic location if walking the West Highland Way .
The food & service was amazing .
Huge compliments to the Chef as it’s the best food we have had for ages .
The cabins where so clean & faced out on the river .
lots of nice extra touches in the room like a packet of crisps and tea/ hot chocolate sachets .
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel .
Everything about the hotel was perfect. The location is beautiful, you can take a walk right to the bridge and follow the river it’s absolutely stunning. The rooms were great and comfortable. We also had dinner there and it was really tasty.
A lovely well run hotel in a remarkable location. Perfect cosy base to rest up after along day walking the West Highland Way. The staff were lovely, warm and welcoming and the restaurant area, food and service was really good.
