Fantastic service and communication before and during our trip. We were met at the airport as organised and were kindly dropped off the next morning to our car hire pick up point. Casa Garitas is conveniently located near the airport, which was ideal for us as we had come off a long flight. Payment was easy to do via card or cash. The room was large and very comfortable with complimentary water bottles which was appreciated as we didn't have a chance to pick up any beforehand. Just a short walk down the road are some restaurant options and we were recommended one which we really enjoyed for our first Tico meal of our holiday. Thank you :)

They made me a delicious burrito dinner and Javi was kind enough to drive me to the airport for a very early morning flight.

Set 32 km from Poas National Park, Casa Carmen offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I travel in and out of San Jose airport almost monthly. I was looking for something basic, clean, safe, and economical. This is a home where the mother, a son, and a daughter are and the host goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Although economical, the place is VERY clean and is exactly what you would expect in a typical tico home. I 100% will be staying here routinely and look forward to getting to know the family better.
