Excellent location, close to Okunoin Temple and Cemetery. Room were clean and warm as it was freezing outside. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious. You could participate in the ceremonies conducted by the temple monks. The night tour was also informative.

Staying in a temple was a great experience. The temple was gorgeous, the monks were welcoming, the food was delicious, and the room was big and comfortable. We were invated to participate in the morning ceromony. I appreciated that they provided explanations afterwards so that we could fully enjoyed it.

The room si beautiful old Japanese style room, bed was very comfortable, amenities are generous and various. The location is perfect, near to accommodation in the center of the famous gion district. Hosts are very kind and fully available. We spent a wonderful stay.

Shirahama no Yado Daigo日式旅馆位于白滨（Shirahama），提供覆盖各处的免费WiFi，距离白滨海滩（Shirahama Beach）不到200米，距离Ezura Beach海滩不到1.2公里，距离白滨美术馆（Shirahama Art Museum）约2公里，距离Shirahama Aquarium Kyoto University水族馆2.1公里，距离Kishu... The hostess (who's also the owner) was a very nice and friendly person. Breakfast was complimentary and the hostess even made breakfast by herself to guests every morning and it was delicious! The room is equipped with tatami floor and was super clean. There was no bed but instead futon was provided and you need to set it up by yourself at night which was interesting. It was a special experience to get a chance to sleep in a Japanese futon. If you don't know how to set it up they will help you too. The bathroom is big and equipments were new. The hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the beach. It's also close to a bus stop which takes you to surrounding sightseeing places. There are convenient store and supermarket within walking distance and you can buy fireworks there to play at the beach at night. If we come back to Shirahama in the future we will choose to stay here again.

Spent the night here in Kyoto and wish I had booked another one! The staff is very friendly, prompt and kindly let us leave our bags before check-in and after check-out. The dinner option was also spectacular, with fluent english staff and a great pace to have a wagyu tasting.
