From £109 per nightThe view is utterly stunning. I could not stop taking photos, as the light changed, and impressed me all over again. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the space and variety of places to sit to read when not distracted by the view. The weather all over NZ was atrocious, so we went with plenty to keep us entertained, but none of it needed. While the rest of Canterbury shivered and dealt with the rain and gale force winds, we strolled about Akaroa spotting birds and enjoying mild winter sun.

Our host Jasmine was incredible from start to finish with a world class breakfast of granola, berries, eggs, bacon, avocado and home grown tomatoes. We booked a cabin for 3 nights. Us and our 2yr old and 4yr old. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It has a lovely little deck area then onto a lawn which was perfect for the children. A playground in the main camping area also fab. Toilets and showers really close. Everything was clean and the owners are lovely. We had such a great time.
