Portmeirion Village & Castell Deudraeth byggdes av en visionär arkitekt 1925 och har utsikt över vackra Dywryd Estaury. Hotellet ligger strax söder om kustbyn Porthmadog på en privat halvö. Amazing location, great village room over looking the main square, we stayed in Salutation 1 which had a full sized fridge and a sink in the room. Vey comfy bed, good facilities and great complimentary toiletries...... L'Occitaine no less.....Staff were helpful and very attentive. A surprise was the complimentary shuttle bus service from your room to Castell Deudreath if your meals were booked there. Food was great in the Castell, even a dedicated Vegan Menu and wine list which was lovely to find. Cannot wait to go again

Originally built in 1840, Spilman Hotel is a family-run hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking, right in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen. This is a very comfortable hotel near the town centre. The owner and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. For all you coeliacs the breakfast is large and gluten free even the sausages. The owner even bought a new toaster so my wife could have toast. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside is the entrance which is narrow but with a wide turn isn't a major problem.

Sue and Lois on reception and Dan who was multitasking. Customer service and friendliness was outstanding. So many places are lacking in this area however The Dunes have cracked it. Real team work was shown.

Conwy är en trevlig stad.
Conwy är en trevlig stad. Som ofta i äldre städer i Wales ganska smala gator med en blandning av gamla byggnader och lite nyare bebyggelse, mysiga butiker och matställen. Favoriter hos de yngre i vår familj var Storbritanniens minsta hus och The Knight Shop.
