Titanic Museum was echt een belevenis. Ulster museum ook,daarbij nog gratis. Hop-on-hop-off bustour geeft n aardig beeld van Belfast incl.Storemont regeringsgebouw. Giant's causeway is zeer de moeite waard.

Belfast is a fine town, the people are friendly and helpful. There are some great restaurants (Fratelli is super) and The Ulster Museum is one of the finest i have visited (free entry!)....within no time one finds himself in nature....go to Bel and do it fast!

Belfast is een Britse stad met 'n Iers accent. Veel bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand maar het busvervoer is prima. Aanraders zijn de Titanic Quarter, het Ulster Museum (hier leer je veel over de stad en bv the Troubles), de Murals in de omgeving van Shankill Road. Bij genoeg tijd is het ook mooi om met een dagtour naar de Noord-Ierse kust te gaan en diverse sights te bekijken. En vergeet vooral de Ierse pubs niet!

Belfast heeft natuurlijk een roerig verleden. De black cab tours bieden de mogelijkheid om die geschiedenis uitgebreid te verkennen- indrukwekkend! Maar de stad biedt zo veel meer. Een project om fietsen op diverse plekken in de stad te kunnen lenen, een nieuw C.S.Lewis' park, en het mooie Ulster Museum met botanische tuin op de campus van Queen's University. Voor lekker eten: Deane's at Queen's, Zen. Goede hotels: Tara Lodge, Ibis Cathedral Quarter.

Leuke stad met een prachtig stadhuis waar rondleidingen worden gegeven. Het Ulster museum (gratis toegang) is zeker de moeite waard met een wandeling door de Botanische Tuin. Prachtig universiteitsgebouw en een leuk winkelcentrum nabij het stadhuis. Shankill road met muurschilderingen, Titanic en spoorwegmuseum even buiten Belfast voor de volgende keer.

Een interessante stad met een geschiedenis. Het was voor ons niet echt een stedentrip maar meer om een nacht te overbruggen voor onze verdere vakantie in Ierland. De stad mag hier en daar wel aangepakt worden. Veel gebouwen die dicht getimmerd waren. Vriendelijke mensen die bereidt zijn om je te helpen waar nodig. Lekker gegeten bij Ryans een pub om de hoek van onze B&B. Titanic expo bezocht, interessant maar erg prijzig(18Pond p.p.) en een kijkje genomen in het Ulster Museum. Hadden we langer kunnen blijven hadden we zeker meer bezichtigingen gedaan.

We konden om 9 uur in de ochtend -direct vanaf de nachtboot- meteen al inchecken. De kamer was verder heel rustig, maar toch dichtbij de stad.De kamer was verder heel schoon en netjes. Koffie en thee was op de kamer te zetten met een waterkoker en ook koffie, thee en melk was aanwezig. Vlakbij Ulster University, leuke sfeer en leuke koffietentjes in de buurt met Barista, waar je ook goed kon ontbijten.

The landscape around the hotel is fabulous. We had Double room with lake view and it was spacious and very comfortable. The spa was good but nothing extremely incredible. The breakfast was very good with a good choice of food and in a very nice restaurant in the ground floor. We had an amazing weekend there.

Fantastic location in Great Victoria street opposite the historic Crown Liquor saloon. Very comfortable stay on the 8th floor in an executive room. Stayed many times in Belfast previously but this was our first stay at the Europa. The hotel's atmosphere is one of serenity and opulence. Loved late night cocktails in the piano lounge which one of the staff shrewdly commented was our living room for our stay. Marvellous.

Beautiful hotel extremely well maintained, reminded us of the opulent and lavish days in the late 1800 - early 1900. All the staff is well polite and welcoming. Our room was on the old side and was facing the fron tof the hotel and you could hear the noise from the street, this being said, when we mentionned it to the front they proposed to move us to a different room.It is definitively a five star hotel and we recommend it.

Breakfast we great. We chose the Inn due to location and facilities and was on our journey across the top of Ireland. Enjoyed visiting Bushmills Brewery and Bushmills town and surrounding area. Very picturesque.
