Situated in the picturesque village of Inkpen, the Crown and Garter is a traditional English pub with stylish rooms, a restaurant and bakery. It opens onto a lovely garden. Amazing inn refurbished to a very high standard. The beds were super comfortable and I loved their courtyard. The entire place was beautiful and I could spend hours just sitting there. Food was great the inn - delicious and well cooked. However it would be good to add more options to the breakfast.

A luxurious spa with a roof of fragrant herbs, an excellent gourmet restaurant, and an equestrian centre are offered at this stunning, 5-star country house. My husband and I had the most glorious weekend here. While the hotel and location are stunning and even moreso when decorated for Christmas, it was the staff that really made our trip special. Everyone was warm, friendly, passionate about the hotel, and treated us like family. Highlights were the dinner at the new Woven restaurant which was spectacular, and a walk around Virginia Water. The manager even gave me a beautiful tin of Coworth afternoon blend tea to take away! We really appreciated the team's friendly, personal approach. While it's not a cheap hotel, extras such as water and breakfast, and even a bottle of Veuve Cliquot in our room, were included so we didn't feel we overpaid at any point.

I stayed for 1 night as I had to be at the Royal Berkshire Hospital early the next day (it’s just round the corner). I had little expectations as it was purely a bed for the night but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very comfortable and accommodating. The 24 hour staff were friendly and helpful. Food was served in the bar but I chose to eat food I had brought with me in my room, which was a nice option. It was a good stay at a really affordable price. I would recommend.

The pub is tucked away in the quiet Berkshire countryside. The bedrooms are arranged around a private courtyard which has a pretty little garden. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and the bedrooms very comfortable with generous bathrooms. The food was excellent even down to the chef making his/her own baked beans

We stayed at the Berkshire Arms for reading festival weekend … we are not campers the hotel was away from reading enough maybe 25 minute drive , our hotel room had a huge comfy bed which after walking and dance round the festival all day was amazing to come back to , and seriously the best shower, hot and powerful ! The staff were all lovely, smilie and helpful at all times .

Convenient location,2min walk from Windsor & Eton Riverside station. 5min walk to Windsor castle. All of staffs are very kind and warm welcoming for the guests. Their restaurant has amazing river views, kind staffs and best breakfast ever. Very classic English style interior but not feel old.
