Traditional , quirky , great location just if b500. Attention to detail and quality of good was fantastic. Every detail was thought about and parking was not a problem. WiFi etc was all available. The area is stunning, perfect for relaxing hikes and more, and the forest is right there, out of your window.

The room was a good size with a seating area and large bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfy. It was spotlessly clean. There was also a small personal terrace to your room. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was first class. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, these were the nicest bead rolls we’d had on our road trip and the little pots of oats were divine. Will definitely be back, even if to just eat that wonderful risotto again.

The staff is exceptional, super friendly and helpful. The location is great, you can start hiking directly from the front door. Otherwise within a few minutes drive you can reach Titisee or Schluchsee and enjoy activities there. The room we were given (room #2) had the perfect setting for our family (2 rooms separated by a door, so we could stay awake a bit longer while our kids were sleeping in the other room). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back.
