Situated in Abraão, 70 metres from Abraao Beach, Pousada Aquarela do Mar features air-conditioned accommodation and a garden. The accommodation offers room service and free WiFi. Beautiful and comfortable Pousada. Others are closer to the “port”, but this place is worth the walk. Very helpful, when we neeeded something, very nice staff. We had a wonderful stay!

Situated in Abraão, 400 metres from Abraao Beach, Pousada Costa Verde features a garden and views of the mountain. The property itself is beautiful and clean, the beds are comfy and the shower is warm. It is located nicely so you can quickly get to the center but also can get a quiet nights sleep if you need. The host is beyond amazing and made our trip particularly special. He helped us book transfer service to and from the island and had many good recommendations. On our final day our water taxi got us back late and he took our bags down and met us at the pier to ensure we made our transfer back to Rio. we couldn’t of asked for a better stay on the island and we will definitely be back as soon as we can. If you are visiting Ilha Grande you can’t go wrong with booking Pousada Costa Verde.

Set in Praia de Araçatiba, Mar da Lua provides an outdoor swimming pool. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge and a bar. We liked everything. We chose this place, because the rating for the location was 9.7 and for sure it is. It is amazingly beautiful place - beautiful mountains, peaceful ocean, cozy rooms with seashells used as part of the decoration everywhere. The boat trip that one can purchase from the Mar da Lua takes you to the true paradise beaches. We also chose the place as other guest were writing only great reviews about Mar da Lua owner Francisco. And for sure he deserved all of them - we wanted to organize one very special event for us there and he even gave a contact of his sister who helped to organize it for us. We are so grateful that Francisco allowed us to have a small family wedding there and so grateful to his sister who made it happen.

Located within a few steps of Aracatiba and 1.1 km of Araçatibinha Beach, Pousada Cibeles provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Praia de Araçatiba. Guests can enjoy sea views.... One of the nicest hosts I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He's very organized, his place is well kept and he's very thoughtful. The breakfast was great! the view is amazing. Made me wish that I had stayed longer. Tip: when arriving on the island, ask for "Pousada do Sr Luis" , instead of Cibeles, the locals will know it better 😂

Located in Abraão and with Abraao Beach reachable within 400 metres, Pousada Korui provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Sissi is super friendly and really helpful, we had a few blackouts on the island but she did everything she could to help! The rooms are lovely and there is a nice area to chill in. The breakfast is amazing.

Suites Abraão Beach is located on the beachfront in Abraão, a few steps from Abraao Beach and 1.2 km from Preta Beach. Great location, easily accessible from all ports and to walk into town.

Morango das Palmas features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Praia de Palmas. The remote beach location is everything you can wish for if you need a good rest in a paradise-like location. Palmas beach was one of the nicest we've seen on this side of the island, with a restaurant in front of the accomodation which is part of the same family run business. The staff was super friendly and helpful, food delicious (even though you run out of new options after a few days of eating there the whole day), breakfast was superb, and daily room cleaning was included. The room and bathroom were spacious and nice, despite the lack of AC.
