We booked a room with private bathroom. It was a room for 4 (ideal for a couple + 2 kids). It has also a little kitchenette to make a quick meal, tea and coffee. The hostel provided us with towels (body + hands) and hand soap. In the bathroom there's also a hair drier. The location was awesome. Quite central but away from the business. The tram 11 and 21 took us directly to the central station. Since we went for a concert, the tram 21 took us directly to the Deutsche Bank Park (stadion). The hostel is on the 5th floor, accessible by elevator. On the ground floor of the building there are different shops and a Rossman. 1 min from the hostel there is a nice, cheap and family friendly Turkish restaurant. I rate this place 10/10.

Staff and atmosphere inside the hostel is really wonderful. Talked with some really interesting people and had a great time. Staff is super friendly and fun.

The room was basic (eg no kettle) but clean and comfortable with places to hang your clothes. The police station is between the hotel and the station, so the location did not feel unsafe at all. A special mention to the staff, who made us a cup of green tea when we arrived back quite late one day.
