There were so many thoughtful touches to this property. The sauna was nice to come home to after hiking as well. The gardens, the pool, and plenty of areas to sit and relax. This was such a pleasant surprise, peaceful and stunning. The staff were also all incredibly friendly, Sarah was always there to help us with anything we needed. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who also made sure we were having a great stay. My fiancé and I can’t wait to return again in the future!!

Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with a garden and bar. Featuring full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Excellent service, beautiful property and location, nice and quiet. We also loved the restaurant above the hotel, we ended getting dinner there a couple times. Definitely would recommend.

The area is popular for fishing and hiking, and car hire is available at the farm stay. There is the best view from the property! We dont understand the owners dont advertise the view because it is really amazing. The whole house was amazing. Welcome was amazing. Owner´s wine was amazing. This is truly a place where you feel like at home. Everything is super well equiped. It can be perfect base to explore the whole island. Dont hesitate and book it now!

The apartments and studios are set in renovated family vineyard houses. Each of the self-catering units comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom, garden and a furnished terrace. The heated units have a cosy living area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

There is a double room and a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. This property is a real gem! The houses are located in a beautiful garden and are decorated with love and attention to details. Everything is sparkling clean, fresh flowers in all rooms. Owners are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is placed in the house for you and is easy to make in the morning. I recommend Casas de Pedra to everyone visiting Madeira.

Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Venue was within walking distance from locally owned restaurants, cafes, and small market. Very quaint. Locals were very friendly & receptive. The Sunday farmers' market is a must see and do

When we think of paradise we think Quinta Terezinha! This hilltop country farmhouse is the perfect retreat for relaxation and solitude. The Hosts Laura and her father are excellent from attention to details and communication skills to providing special goodies upon arrival. There are many places to see on this island but we just did not want to leave the peaceful setting of this very special accommodation. Cats come with this deal and in my opinion make this place feel like home away from home. We love, love, love Quinta Terezinha and we how you will too!

Vegan friends, they offer a great vegan breakfast at request! The place is like a garden of Eden. All the delights of the northern Madeira are near. I wish that I could have stayed for a month!

Only a short walk from Calheta Beach, Quinta Escola offers cosy accommodation with a modern touch. Wake up to the sound of birds and marvel at the panorama from the comfort of the terrace or living room. Nice views Good off road parking. Barbecue area. Pool was ok.. a little chilly and high cost to have heated, especially as shared pool, it seems unfair for one guest to have to foot the bill of heating it.
