Most importantly, the whole staff was extremely nice and helpful! The location is perfect for exploring the Salento region and enjoying the beautiful beach Baia dei Turchi. We were even able to use bikes from the accommodation. Our room was being cleaned regularly and had everything one would need. The breakfast included rather sweet food, as usual for Italy, so you would have to ask for other options. We also loved the little food stand with fresh vegetables, fruits and other homemade products.

The food was of very good quality and well cooked. The buildings were pleasant. The owners were friendly and helpful. The host spoke some English but, as tourism is still rather underdeveloped in that area of Italy, competent English speakers are not as common as in many other destinations. There were sandy beaches within a few minutes drive, catering to the locals, and they can be crowded.

It was great to stay on a rural property and have a private cabin - a nice change from city stays. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The surrounding gardens were lovely with lounges and a swinging chair. We liked eating at the outside table. The included breakfast, also taken in the gardens, was delicious and plentiful.

Starting with a warm welcome upon arrival, clean and spacious room with a large balcony overlooking the estate… Great breakfast with local products, nice swimming pool, the scenary of the estate, wow!!!! Must have at least one dinner there as it is so good ;) Also great location to explore the south of Puglia. Definately a gem for which we are glad that we have discovered :) Including the perfect and kind staff!
