We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. It’s truely unique, the staff is unbelievably kind and helpful and the location is fabulous with a wonderful view over the vast river.
The breakfast was fantastic and our room must have been the very best in the hotel, because it was so generous and comfortable that we didn’t really want to leave it.

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport...
Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

Paço de Arcos is the perfect midpoint between Lisbon city...
Paço de Arcos is the perfect midpoint between Lisbon city and the coastline beaches that stretch eastwards to Cascais. Recommended if you want to retreat to be somewhere a little quieter that is walking distance to a variety of beaches.
It's very easy to get to/from Paço de Arcos with the train from Cais do Sodre, although check the timetable as the trains run every 15-20 minutes.
O Pastus restaurant in the Paço de Arcos Garden is excellent for modern a modern presentation of Portuguese seafood dishes, with great cocktails as well.

The apartment itself was very good with everything you need...
The apartment itself was very good with everything you need for a longer stay and a beautiful view on the ocean. The surroundings are also very good with a lot of restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and the train station nearby. The soul
of this all is Frederico, our very friendly host, who was there to give us a warm welcome with a lot of advises about where to park the car for free, the way to the train station and interesting places to visit. He was all the time available for questions and tips and at the end he was also there to wish us a good journey back home. It couldn't be better.
Modern open plan apartment with all the facilities we needed. The hostess was very friendly and helpful with all of our requests during our stay and flexible with check-in as we arrived on a late flight.
The bathroom was spacious with good shower and bedroom with good bed and fitted wardrobes.
The house is within 15 minutes walk of Paço de Arcos train station, town centre and local beach. There are good sea view walks along the esplanades and by train, Lisbon and Cascais are within easy reach.

It’s a true, hidden gem in Lisbon.
The place was really good location. 3mins walk to the beach. And 15mins drive from the Lisbon downtown area. And have a lot of good restaurants around. Grocery store is just 3mins walking distance. From the patio, you could directly see the ocean. The apartment each room has air conditions, and also has a washer. The host is super responsive and friendly.
Bonvalot Guest House is as good as it gets. Firstly, the friendliness of the staff makes it feel like you are staying at home and you feel extremely welcome into the property. The house is very beautiful, modern but classical with style and just a short stroll to Praia Paco de Arcos, or Parque Das Poetas. I loved my time here so much I stayed here twice!
The apartement is cozy and perfectly equipped. Owner is really kind. Kitchen is fully equipped with appliances. Everything is clean and ready for pleasant stay. It's located in a calm district near park. It's close to the beach, to the train, to the groceries. Everything is close. We will be happy to return. We don't have to look for anything else.
Location is in a nice historic port area with lots of eateries nearby, and the train station is nearby for easy access to Lisboa town. The apartment was clean with everything as advertised. Our host Frederico was terrific either way his communications and providing advise. Highly recommended.
It was our fourth time, so obviously we like the hotel.
It has to do with the location. It's easy to reach, good parking and easy access to Lisbon and the villages along the coast.
Staff is friendly, it's nice to have a pool outside.
Beautiful views to the ocean.
The location of this apartment is really convenient: close to the beach, to the train to Lisbon and also with multiple supermarkets and restaurants surrounding it. The hosts are available for any problem solving within the same day. I enjoyed it a lot!
Room had a good view, decent size. The swimming pool is really good. Breakfast was a bit better than average. Some of the staff were friendly (especially Helga, who was our first contact when we checked in), the rest below average
Location - nice neighborhood, not far from public transportation. Easy access to Lisbon and local beaches. Bruno was really helpful with local recommendations for dining and things to do.
Idilic chalet in a really lovely part of the town, close to restaurants, the beaches and the train station. Perfect holiday chalet for visiting Lisbon and the coast.
The location was great to combine with Lisbon, Sintra and the other beach towns, everywhere was about 25 minutes to reach by car. The hotel staff was very friendly.
the owner was really nice and welcoming and the apartment is as amazing if not better than the pictures I’ll definitely be returning and would love to stay again
balconies overlooking the sea.
