However as it's on the ground floor and near to both parking and road it can be noisy, especially from renovation workers very early morning

The location was great, a 5 minute walk from train station and close to Torp airport. Sandefyord town looked beautiful in the snow but we didn't get much chance to explore. Room was big enough, but hotter than I like. Everywhere looked very clean.

The staff member that checked us in was lovely. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. Overall, the location was what brought us in due to an early flight out of TORP.

Sandefjord is very much a working, functional port town with good marina facilities for leisure boaters. There are plenty of options to dine out and have a stroll around the harbour/port area, but it is not really big on tourism as such, which is probably not a bad thing. If you are driving, the links to the major routes are easy to follow, and of course you have the ferry port for travelling over to Sweden.

Norwegians are friendly and nice also helpful to tourists like us if we want to go places and need to catch the bus My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Sandefjord. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has a lot of equipment and there is a lot of space in the house to just sit and relax. The house is located in very pretty neighbourhood. Our host was really friendly, made sure that everyone felt comfortable and also drove us to the airport. We’d love to visit this place again one day.JuliaPoland

They gave me some tips to get to Torp airport early in the morning and told me about the shuttle bus available at the Torp station which I didn’t know about. When I left the next day at 4am the person at the reception was once again fantastic, giving me a sandwich and fruits and coffe as I wouldn’t be able to get breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff!
