We were warmly welcomed at 10pm after a long flight and the receptionist was very caring asking us if we’d like her to get us some food. She was beautiful thank you.

Spacious room and great staff at the reception. Arrived by car and we used the hotel's car park for one night (15eur). We did not have any problem with the size of the car park and its spaces. The location is great if you plan to use the Aircoach from/to the airport, the stop is easily reachable on foot in 5 minutes.
On the picturesque seafront with beautiful views across the Irish Sea, The Martello Hotel offers hotel rooms or self-catering apartments.

Lovely area, with plenty of historical places to visit should you like to. Have quite a few good pubs and other eating establishments; the Queens was great! Not a great amount of local shops, which is something that we look for when we visit a downtown.

Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route.
Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route. The Coliemore rooms are super accessible right behind the lovely pub. Be sure to visit the Sorrento Park and Dalkey Island using the local ferry. Also the Dalkey Hill provides great views of the area and Dublin. Be sure to note that the train does take 25 minutes or so to get into Dublin, so you need to plan for that if you're going into the city.

Beautiful and quaint historic town with a superb heritage centre ideal for a family visit. Highly entertaining tour with actors in costume and lots of interaction. Surrounding areas picturesque. Great cafes and independent shops on the high street. Really convenient for popping into Dublin on the Dart. Easy to access from the motorway too.

Not easy to drive around Dalkey..
Not easy to drive around Dalkey..Must have been a nice area long ago before traffic and construction clogged it up..The facade of the village buildings is nice and well maintained.
Malahide and Howth would be a far better option for a city break.

What a lovely little place.
What a lovely little place. The main street (Castle Street) is an absolute joy, boutique little restaurants and cafes alongside niche shops. I was there on business but will absolutely be coming back as a tourist.
PERFECT location! Easy, secure and convenient access to accommodation. Everything provided, comfortable and clean. Very helpful and friendly Hosts (Jimmy and Pat 🥰) held our bags at The Pub (after enjoying a delicious breakfast) until check-in time). Wished we could have stayed more days but they were booked up even six months ahead. Very happy with the provided rubber shower mat!! That was a bonus almost no other hotel included. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Accommodation!!!
The location was perfect! We used the DART to travel Ireland’s east coast, the station 🚉 is a 3 minute walk. The restaurant next door is very good! You are basically in the town making it easy to visit the restaurants and shops. Walking to the harbour and Vico bathing area are also easy to get to.
There is no meal plan at the Coliemore Accommodation. Room only but spotless too. Right in Dalkey village but lots of places for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cannot recommend enough how impressed I was with the accomodation, very very clean indeed. Would recommend to everyone.
Room was fresh and clean . Very comfy beds. power shower . Friendly, accomodating staff. We could leave our luggage at pub next door after checking out next day so could explore Dalkey at our ease .
I would highly recommend this accommodation.
Thanks a million
Andrea
The room was very clean and comfortable and the greeting was friendly. It was very centrally located in beautiful Dalkey. Water and tea and coffee was provided. Parking was available outside the house. Overall ideal for what we needed and would stay again.
We were not having breakfast there, but the location is fantastic for visiting Dalkey. Staff was lovely and happy to help with any requests. There's 2 private parking spaces and we managed to secure one, so a completely stress-free experience!
Very clean and comfortable room right in the heart of Dalkey. John, the manager in the Coliemore Pub next door looked after us and we had the best cooked breakfasts ever in there, and at a reduced rate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We liked the feel of this old hotel. The lounge, bars and restaurants are nice and the rooms are comfortable. It is also nice to be able to walk into the park right behiind the hotel. The hotel restaurant's food was very nice.
The hotel is located very close to Killney Hill. The views of the coastal line from this park are breathtaking! The hotel is also located close to the village of Dalkey. The town is very quaint and full or Irish charm.
Great location in the centre of Dalkey - a couple of minutes walk to the train station and supermarket. Great health food shop across the road for coffee and yummy cooked breakfasts - they also open early!
spacious clean ensuite room in beautiful Dalkey. warm and cosy. comfy bed. kettle. great shower. nice lighting. nice people. simple to check in & out. great value for money.
Excellent hotel! The pool, the jacuzzi, the breakfast, bar with nice cocktails and restaurant with good staff and food, the bed was comfortable and the room was also lovely.
