The place is beautiful. Such a lovely couple and the whole team is so friendly. Delicious breakfast and we even had special food for my little one (choosy eater). The heated pool was the cherry on top the cake for us. Lovely place, definitely going back.

A beautiful Dorset resort.
A beautiful Dorset resort. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Some lovely walks and great beaches. I would recommend it to anyone. Harbour inn for Sunday lunch, Millside restaurant for an evening meal. You need need to book in advance to prevent disappointment. Plenty of Bars on the sea front, places to eat and drink and ice cream shops. Watch out for the always hungry seagulls.Wollacott - 10Scored 10
Lyme Regis was a perfect base for exploring the Jurassic...
Lyme Regis was a perfect base for exploring the Jurassic coast. The town is clean and well kept. There is a good selection of shops and a couple of small supermarkets but also independent bakers. The museum is worth a visit and the micro brewery. The staff in hotels, shops and restaurants are so friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do in and around the town which boasts an excellent beach and nice walks. It is easy to catch a bus east or west. Lyme Regis has a lovely atmosphere with families and dogs milling around happily. We were lucky to have good weather 9 days out of 10! All in all it exceeded our expectations!

People very friendly and helpful. Car parking is not great and you can only stay for a max of 3 hrs, no return for 4hrs in ncp in the town. Park and ride was closed! Car parks further out if you don't mind a walk. Found a great pub, The Ship Inn on our way from car park, had lunch and returned for dinner!

Fantastic out of season in season very expensive car parking is just about impossible Purchase fish and chips by the COB batter on the fish dark and the chips also dark ( Old cooking Oil ) upset tummy the next day x3, not food poisoning but close Buy three pasties in Charmouth and had to return them Pastry very hard and filling dry and hard not recommended even the seagulls turned away from themArthurAustralia - 10Scored 10

The weather was fantastic and it had lasted I would definitely wanted to stay longer. It was torrential rain the day we left!! It was perfect for a relaxing couple of days, a bit too busy but it was the first weekend of warm weather this year!! There are lovely independent shops, the is only a coop and Tesco extra, so food quite basic, there are some lovely cafes for lunches, It is on a hill so you have to be able to manage a small hill, the beach and walk along the beach front is flat, there are good ice cream stalls, I think it would be very busy in summer, we found a few fossils to take home, Monmouth beach is rocky but has some lovely fossils in large rocks to see and the amonite pavementSarahUnited Kingdom

We booked two rooms, one for us and one for our daughter, both were clean and spacious. We chose to eat in the hotel on the evening of our stay and really enjoyed our meal. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and there was lots of space in the secure car park for our car. We would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Lyme Regis.

The rooms are about the same size as a hotel room, with similar facilities (fridge, kettle). Having the parking is great, as otherwise the main car parks in Lyme Regis are a walk up the hill.
