Good sized room , all the facilities worked and there was a decent shower.
Breakfast was good and cooked to order. Ate in the restaurant one night and the food was good with very generous portions. The staff were young and all very friendly and polite.

Comfortable room overlooking the church. The evening meal and bottle of wine were superb and great value for money. We thought the breakfast was outstanding. We've booked again in July.

All the food we ate was excellent.
Our booking was for B&B. But we also had our evening meal there. It was delicious.
Breakfast was also very tasty. A good choice from both dinner and breakfast menus.
Nothing was too much trouble for all of the staff we encountered. From checking in, at meals and checking out we were made to feel welcome and appreciated. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our short stay. We will hopefully return soon.

Stunning location, picture perfect. Super breakfast (even a sausage for the dog)
Rooms were nice, bathrooms a little dated and only had a shower (would be nice to have a bath after a long walk)
Warm welcome

Clapham is a quiet village but does get a lot of day trippers visiting the Ingleborough estate and caves.
The Old Sawmill cafe is excellent (fab coffee) but the village could probably do with more daytime cafes.
Settle is not far away and this has an excellent assortmant of shops and cafes.

Nearest grocery shop Booths is Seattle ,which is much nicer than Waitrose. I would say the higher end. The village of Settle is only 10mins from Clapham.

Clapham is a really nice village in the Yorkshire dales. It is an Ideal base for country walks and mountain walks. You can easily access the remote areas of the dales where you would not see another person all day long. I might regret having said that

Lovely place in the middle of the countryside about 20 miles due East(ish) of Lancaster. Small, quite sleepy village about 1 mile from the station which provides connections to Lancaster and Leeds (and more places I'm sure!). Safe and friendly with nice river flowing through it.

Clapham is a beautiful village. We went beginning of July.
Clapham is a beautiful village. We went beginning of July. It was so quiet. I suspect in high tourist season it can be busy but during our stay Covid restrictions were still in place so no oversees visitors. Clapham has no nightlife so if that's what you want this us not the place to stay. If you want an evening stroll in a pretty little village this is beautiful place.
Clapham is the entry point to the Farrer trail that takes you to Ingleborough cave and beyond - beautiful!
Lovely welcome from the new staff and good to see familiar faces too. The hotel is newly reopened but running smoothly. The staff were really kind and helpful and attentive to requests such as extending stay, useful recommendations. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. The room was cleaned beautifully. Looking forward to a return visit soon. I know the area well but if you haven't visited its absolutely stunning, I only had time for a short walk from Clapham to Austwick and back but it was beautiful.
The staff are really nice and friendly. The hotel is refurbished to a good standard and is spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food is very good quality. The hotel is very welcoming of dogs, and permits guests to eat in the bar area for dinner and breakfast with the dog in tow, which was very appreciated. Clapham is a great location, with good walks on the doorsteps and its a beautiful village. Would definitely stay again.
I received a really warm welcome upon arrival. The room was spacious with everything you would need. great food and good selection of beers and wine. The staff couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to accommodate our late booking for dinner for 9 people so thank you to you all. We were walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks and this hotel is a great location only 15 minutes drive to the start.
Location was great.
Breakfast serving staff were lovely and friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious.
Room was warm as was the bathroom. Shower was lovely and powerful. We enjoyed our stay but just a bit disappointed that this hotel could be so much better and more ambient. Check-in and check out staff were great.
The location of the hotel is just delightful. Picturesque little stone village, with beautiful beck and 4 stone bridges, nestled under Ingleborough. The hotel was a delight too. The food, the staff, the room were all excellent. Delicious evening meal and great breakfast. Incredible value for money. We'll definitely be back.
Superb Cottage not far from Clapham and Ingleton, Cosy but still enough space inside and a private garden too, Was an excellent peacful spot to stay but not too far away from Ingleton and the Waterfall trail or Malham cove which we visited during our stay would defiently bookk again when we revisit the area .
Lovely old house with pretty rooms and elegant lounge. Clapham village was an unexpected joy with a riverside walk and a beautiful country park within walking distance.
Very good pub in the Yorkshire Dales. Clapham is an excellent place to stay if you want to get out into the countryside. Food good and staff were very welcoming.
Cosy cottage with everything we needed. Perfect location for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Hosts very welcoming and left us a lovely welcome pack of goodies.
