This was our second stay at Melorne Farm after a one night stopover last year. We booked in for two nights this time and once again Lesley and Paul were exceptional hosts. We all (family of four) love this place. So welcoming that it feels like home from home. It is brilliantly located for great days out (we went to Port Isaac, Padstow and Rock this time) and our breakfasts and afternoon tea were delicious. Every little detail was thought about to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Thank you too for remembering my birthday - such a lovely kind gesture. ❤️

Absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean with everything you could ask for including a washing machine. Plenty of parking, great wifi and booklet with recommendations of places to see and eat which was very helpful. Great spot to explore the surrounding villages. Hosts were friendly and very helpful.

A beautiful traditional hotel recently taken over by St Austell Brewery so they also serve great ale. Breakfast was served in a really beautiful dining room rather than the bar as is often the case for these sort of places. Only 2 mins walk from the centre of boscastle. Parking is very limited but the main boscastle car park is only 6 or 7 mins walk.
Set in Tintagel, less than 1 km from Merlin's Cave Beach, The Wootons Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.
Went with my 2 children , age 6 and 10 and my partner.
Went with my 2 children , age 6 and 10 and my partner.
Hosts were lovely. Grounds were too and the children loved the horses.
The property was located centrally which was good.
The cottage was cozy and clean.
The children’s beds were fine , but the adults double bed was standard.
My partner is 6ft 2, I am 5ft 7.
We couldn’t turn over without waking up .
We had sore backs and no sleep for 2 nights so we decided to leave and checked out at tea time on the 3rd day after the second night.
We told the host and also asked for a partial refund because we didn’t stay the 4 nights as paid.
The host wouldn’t partial refund although being honest and open about the bed, tiredness annd back pain and also with having to cut the holiday short by 2 nights.
We had a 5 hours drive to as well.
I’ve been honest and that’s my experience.
Book if you are ok with a standard double bed for 2 adults.
Apart from the bed , it was nice.

Most of our time was spent outside of Camelford.
Most of our time was spent outside of Camelford. We started with Tintagel and in other days went to Boscastle and to Bude. We did walk around Camelford. There is a very nice yarn store which sells knitting needles and other re-usable supplies in addition to yarn.
With regard to 6. below, I can't say anything about golf as none of our party plays it.

The house is set in a beautiful location giving you easy access to Cornwall's amazing locations but you do need a car as the amenities are not very close. It served us well as a base to travel to many of the popular locations around Cornwall.

A nice little town, with a stay at The Countryman Hotel, that gives a great starting point for heading to some of Cornwall's most beautiful areas: Tintagel , Boscastle, Bodmin, Port Isaac, Roughtor and Crackington Haven. All within 20 minutes of the town.
The staff were amazingly helpfuly and friendly. We booked evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent. The evening meal in particular was well priced, huge portions, freshly cooked and really good quality.
We had a great view from our room over the golf course and fields and it was quiet overnight. We weren't golfing, just using the hotel as a stopover but the location was fantastic for what we wanted - tintagel, camelford.
If you love little houses then this is for you, with a nice view and conveniently located for driving around Cornwall and checking different places out.
It was cute and clean, all worked well and we really enjoyed the stay, nice view into the fields.
Easy to drive to and it was great for us as a base to explore Cornwall.
Much much better than the average hotels you find in Cornwall for three times the price.
Furnished to an incredibly high standard. Every aspect considered, the shower was more powerful than some hotels I’ve stayed in! Luxurious and modern. Cosy as expected, but we would just have one of us getting ready in the cabin, whilst the other relaxed outside.
Truly delightful location for a relaxed escape.
Very good, spacious apartment which is well located for exploring Cornwall, with easy parking at front door. Comfortable beds and excellent shower. Helpful communication from host over any minor query. Free Wifi which was not listed on facilities that were available at property was a welcome bonus.
Short walk into Camelford and the local pub serving good pub grub.

Camelford is a delightful little town with very easy access to Tintagel by bus. the room was nice and comfy with a good hot shower. The terrace was so pleasant and the host were so kind, was a perfect place for our stay.
A lovely setting surrounded by the golf course. It was close to Tintagel, Wadebridge and other lovely places on the North Cornwall Coast.
The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Everything! The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was lovely and Paul and Lesley are the most welcoming people. Can't thank them enough.
Amazing fully equiped apartment, the private parking touching the kitchen door is so comfortable! Great location for Cornwall tours, 15 min from Port Arthur and from Tintagle.,
