Nice, quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable. Great shower. Complementary tea and coffee was welcome. Spacious dining room. Nice to have breakfast in the conservatory. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and it was very good. Great choice on the evening and breakfast menus.

It was a beautiful hotel. The bar area was brilliant and all the staff were so helpful and the landlord was fantastic. The Sunday lunch was exceptional and great value. The room was perfect, and the shower was immense! The facilities were excellent and the hotel is right near the centre and the car park. Check out time was brilliant, and the breakfast was brilliant.

This is a wonderful traditional hotel set in a glorious location immediately adjacent to a river. It was easy to find - excellent parking. The staff team was very welcoming and very helpful. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a great view of the river. It was very clean. A good television. Nice Bath-shower. The breakfast was superb. The bar is very nice and not noisy. Wild swimming half a mile away along a lovely manmade river path. I shall definitely return.
