Stylish, well furnished and unique. Across the road from a path down to a lovely bay with a resident otter family. We had rubbish weather but it was a cosy retreat and memorable.

Beautiful views over the lake; lovely and warm during a colder evening; great location for a lake side run and walk. Comfortable and cozy, and hosts made a great effort to be respectful of privacy, and incredibly helpful when needed.

A great village to base yourself in. Lots of activities on offer to suit all interests and a number of eateries to choose from. You don't need to travel that far to outer lying villages which also have well established set ups for tourists/ visitors.

Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

attractive village next to a loch.
attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift.
Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy.
Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.

Totally let down on our return visit by their unilateral cancellation of our booking at very short notice and with no real explanation. A subsequent e mail to them offering the opportunity to respond was not answered
This was in such an amazing location in Glencoe. Surrounded by the stone mountains. like something out of a fairy tale. My daughter and I walked the West Highland Way for a few days but then had to give into blisters and tired feet. This was such a great place to relax and hang out while my sister finished that days hike. They have a Restaurant and a couple of bar areas that were really fun to hang out at and get a great bite to eat or drink.
the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road!
they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!
Great place, host is very kind and thoughtful, there is absolutely everyhing you need i the room, kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet nieghberhood with amazing nature around. Host prepared a great guide for guests with useful tips. Perfect altetnative for a hotel. Room is rather small but very cosy, there was enough storage space for us. Everyhing was clean and tidy.
The atmosphere / vibe of the Inn, the location, the food, the staff, the amazing bar and restaurant out the back. Bonus - it was adults-only. Local musicians came and played for us on the Sunday night which really made our evening. The room was cozy, warm, the beds were really comfortable, and the views outside when you wake up of the mountains are incredible!
Perfect location in a quiet wooded area, the cottage is very cozy and was perfect for our group of 3 adults and a dog. There was everything we could have needed, from local OS maps to tea towels and tea, coffee, and seasonings. It was our second stay in the Woodland Cabins and hopefully not the last!
The Landscapes around us were almost out of this earth and the accommodation had everything we could ask for. The hosts were super friendly, brought us delicious self-made muffins on arrival and gave us tips on the surrounding areas as well as recommendations for restaurants or hiking spots.
Beautiful location, we were guests at a wedding in the nearby Kingshouse Hotel and the 15-20 min drive there was stunning. Lovely comfy cottage with everything we needed for our stay. It was spotless and communication with the host was seamless. Would love to stay again.
Great location close to all most beautiful places and sights. Lots of restaurants in close proximity. Very high hospitality from the host. The house has everything you need and more. Fireplace, comfortable beds. Plenty of parking space.
Johny was very friendly and welcoming as well as informative. He shared local knowledge and experience with us including referring us to the local hotel for our evening meal. Great views of the surrounding mountains
the view from outside was beautiful, mountains in every direction.

It is located just by the loch with a great mountain view from the garden. The room was spotlessly clean. WiFi worked well. The host provided helpful information about local restaurants.
Separate accommodations connected to owners residence. 2-bedroom, 2- bath with kitchen and laundry. beautiful setting and close proximity to the highlights of the Highlands
A beautiful location and a romantic wee lodge. Ideal for a quiet, short break. Easy walking distance to Ballachulish and Glencoe Village for good food.
