It is a pleasant town where you can go and have a relaxed time and good international food and a small but organized cultural and art offerings.
You can walk around safely, but they have an excellent transportation system. You can get the flavor of the town if you stay long enough. I had thought that I was going to Madrid often but ended up staying more in Leganes because of the slow pace and nice people.

Didn't see much of the town but the bars and restaurants on the one night that we were not in Madrid seemed very pleasant with lots of outdoor seating in the bars and tapas restaurants in the various squares. Not really a tourist destination from what I could see, but a good base to sample normal life Spain whilst within easy access distance to Madrid
This is a very well run hotel, the Manager Alejandro was outstanding, the breakfast was very good and excellent value. The rooms are very comfortable but perhaps a little dated. Excellent parking including secure underground
car park which was again excellent value for money
The place is nice, rooms are confortable with air conditioning and water vending machine at ground floor. There is also a Turkish restaurant nearby. I booked the hotel because of Mad Cool festival and this hotel was about 15 minute away by car.
