The coast line is beautiful with yellow sand and beautiful view of the coast as far as the eye can see. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. There's a harbour wall walk. We wanted to eat paella at El Pescador which was recommended to us but unfortunately it closed at 3.30. Avoid fiesta days its not easy to get around.ShamimSpain - 8.0Scored 8.0

nice location of the hotel, walking distance from the beach. Very noisy rooms, for sure not sound proof. One night stay is ok, but I did not stay longer and looked for another hotel in the area. The hotel is not value for money.

Great city, relatively close to Valencia and Valencia...
Great city, relatively close to Valencia and Valencia Airport (In 1 hour we was there). Definitely one of the best beach I saw in Spain. City center as well as beach(playa) district full of nice small restaurants. And of course friendly, smiling people all over the places.

We prefer pedestrian-scale streets and attractive vistas.
We prefer pedestrian-scale streets and attractive vistas. Gandia has neither. High-rise buildings shadow the beach in the late afternoon. The architecture and treeless wide streets make it ripe for the next dystopian film. Zoning and land use control has gone awfully wrong in the beachfront area. Avoid this town if you prefer romantic, intimate spaces.

On top even it was easter they have the spa closed on Monday. Honestly its a joke to talk about a spa thats impossible to use. Also a hotel with I believe 200 rooms and a spa for 12people?? Anyway the rooms are fine and clean ,its close to the beach and has a parking space and they allow animals what was for us good as we travel with our dog. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner is working great albeit it's a bit louder than usual. The hotel is always open, you don't need to carry a key card around because the doors are on a pin which is really great.
