Fornalutx is a really picturesque village in the Mallorcan mountains. The house is located in one of the nice cobble-stone staircase streets and you'll find many tourists taking pictures of the street every day. Free parking is available close to the property, a little bit up the hill, but be aware: Only the white-marked spaces are free. There are also some blue-marked places in the parking and those are paid during the day (machine is down the hill).
The house has several rooms over three floors with a roof terrace that has sun (in December) until 16:00 approximately. Ideal for a glass of wine with a mountain view.
Located in Fornalutx in the Majorca region, Sa Màniga features a patio. This villa has a private pool, a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking.

the house is on a mountain near to fornalutx, and has a beautiful terrasse with a lovely view down the hill. We more often used the beautifull chimney in the living room, because the weather was very cold. Everything we needed was in the house. the owner and the caretaker were both very helpful und kind.
Boasting a garden, private pool and garden views, Els Abats is situated in Fornalutx. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the villa free of charge.

Good house, great view and all basics for cooking already there. We spent 5 relaxing days. Only difficulty is the last bit of road leading to the house. But it worked with a relatively large car. We just changed our parking spot to a place along the road after the second day. Our host was very welcoming and the water from the spring is a great alternative to buying plastic bottles. Can recommend and would stay again.
Situated in Fornalutx, 34 km from Son Vida Golf and 48 km from Golf Santa Ponsa, Sa Teulera features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning, a garden and barbecue facilities.

Breathtaking view, atmospheric historical house. Quiet, nice and peaceful village. Very good location to spent the hoildays in the mountain and it's very good that there is a parking near it!

Amazing hotel with brilliant staff. Complimentary breakfast was incredibly tasty with lots of options, including gluten free alternative baguettes and pastries.
Pool is very well kept, and the shelter around means it’s not windy which is perfect for sunbathing. Very good service at the bar, who come and bring you your drinks to your sun loungers.
Location is fantastic, 1 or 2 minute walk from the heart of the town, and the tram station which takes you down to Port de Sóller. But it is far enough away that you don’t hear the hustle and bustle.
The car park is about a 5 minute walk away from the hotel, but the car park is in a very good location, sheltered by orange and lemon trees so it doesn’t get too hot. It is just off a roundabout that puts you onto the main road to Palma / Valdemossa / Deià / Port de Soller, so it is incredibly convenient.
10 minute drive to Port de Soller which is an incredible spot for dinner and relaxing on the beach.
We checked out of our room at 6:00am, which was too early for breakfast, but the kitchen prepared us a breakfast baguette to take on our journey which we were very thankful for!
Cleaning service every day, so the room is nice and tidy when you get back to your room, which is a big bonus too.
This stylish hotel is located in Soller’s main square. Set in an early 20th century building, it features garden, terrace and elegant rooms with scenic village or garden views.

Lovely staff. Old hotel in need of renovation. Rooms basic, not even a kettle. For the price there are far more luxurious options a short distance away.

During winter, Fornalutx is still visited by many tourists for hiking in the nearby mountains. However, there are only two restaurants open during December and you need to make reservations (by phone) for the one in the city center if you want to go there. I can highly recommend them though!
Do not trust Google for telling you opening times of anything in Mallorca. Google is generally unaware of opening times and more often than not we found a closed door.

A lovely village but busier than any of our previous 12 stays. Good choice of restaurants and nice tourist shops. House rentals have become much more expensive. Much more regular bus from local areas such as Soller and the Port mean more day trippers and direct flights from the USA mean more diverse travellers coming.

Absolutely LOVED Fornalutx, beautiful little village with amazing restaurants and Forn de Barri is without a doubt the best bakery I've ever been to. The village is very close to Sóller and Port de Sóller which are two really nice areas. A bit of a trek if you want to go down to Palma or anywhere that side of the island. We stayed in Fornalutx for an entire week and rented a car to drive everywhere, but if I were to do it again I would probably only stay in the village for a couple of days and then stay in somewhere like Palma.

This is the fifth time we have stayed in Fornalutz, so I think you can tell we like it. It's a lovely village with beautiful views over Soller and the Tramunta mountains. There's an excellent village shop, a bakery and several decent cafe's and restaurants. Lots of nice walking in the area.

It is rated one of the prettiest villages in Mallorca and I concur completely. The mountain setting is stunning. The restaurants were very good. For a special treat try the Molon restaurant. We were there during the colourful annual festival which although mainly for the locals and children it still had enough of interest for us tourist like traditional Mallorcan dancing. We had a car but the bus service to Soller was every hour. There were several good walks starting from the village.
If I went again I would avoid the final night of the festval.

This place has won the "prettiest village in Spain" award in the past and it's easy to see why. Set in a wooded valley surrounded by towering mountains, every tiny street is lined with terracotta pots crammed with plants and flowers. The small square in the centre has several good bars giving the village a lively atmosphere and there are at least 8 very good restaurants to choose from.
This was a really pretty and quaint little property in the beautiful village of Fornalutx. Bea is the main person I communicated with and she was so helpful when it came to checking in, finding parking, and even offered to put a little breakfast together for us when we checked out at 3AM to go to the airport. It's also a beautiful building, with incredible charm and character, an authentic Spanish feel. There was also air conditioning that worked very well in the room which made it great for those really warm days.
The location and terrace out the back is fantastic. It's amidst orange groves and the smell is amazing. Such a relaxing place. The kids loved the pool (we live by and swim in the North Sea and it was about the same temperature in April but that's fine for us).
The house is large, spread over 2 floors and the downstairs is cool.
It's a 15min walk to Fornalutx which has a great array of restaurants and a little grocery shop. Overall we had a great time thanks!
It was easy to arrange and to meet with the manager of the property to pick up the keys. She was also quick to respond when we had flooding in the property during a particularly bad downpour.
The property was spotlessly clean. It is well located for walking to the restuarants and bars in Fornalutx, taking the train from Soller to Palma and for general sight seeing in Majorca.
The views from the upstairs patio are beautiful.
Casa Salva was just as beautiful as the pictures, if not better. The view was a dream, I didn't want to leave. The house is simple but cozy and everything you need is there. The village Fornalutx is the most beautiful village in Mallorca with great cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. We walked downhill for dinner every night which only takes 5 minutes.
A lovely bijou hotel in the centre of Fornalutz with easy access to the rest of the town and the walks around it. Staff - mainly Polina and Julie - very helpful and booked us into a nearby restaurant for an evening meal which was exceptional. No restaurant in the hotel (but this will change soon) but an excellent breakfast.
the house is on a mountain near to fornalutx, and has a beautiful terrasse with a lovely view down the hill. Beautiful setting with lots of historical touches and old charm in the hotel. Great location and kicthen is well equipped. Host was very helpful and nice. Pool was good to cool off in also! The room was very clean and spacious with some historical touches which added to the charm and experience.
The hotel was fabulous. We had rooms facing the beautiful mountain backdrop. Our friends room was a suite which had a balcony overlooking the infinity pool. The rooms were comfortable and for the time of year, lovely and warm. Our host Sofie was excellent and looked after us all very well.
S'Oliverat is in the most beautiful location, set in the mountains and surrounded by olive trees but a short walk from the beautiful town of Fornalutx. The garden is stunning, the pool was clean and surrounded by flowers. We loved the facilities and the beds were so comfortable
The place itself and surroundings are stunning. We could not have asked for a better stay! The town of Fornalutx is extremely charming, and only a short walking distance from the hotel. A bunch of restaurants, bakeries and a nice bar on the town square.
The staff was extremely friendly and personable, even upgrading our room for our anniversary. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay in Fornalutx. The view was amazing and the property is stunning. We can’t wait to come back soon!
Excellent aparthotel in a beautiful building, great location in the small town of Fornalutx, helpful friendly staff, well equiped and a pleasure to stay there.... peaceful and inspiring... the views of the mountains from the hotel are just wonderful.
Staff was very friendly! The owner was frequently present and gave great background information about this most beautiful place in Spain. Will stay here again in Fornalutx. Don't miss early morning walks around city and through the farms to Soller.
This hotel is a retreat in the mountains where you can find tranquility. It’s away from the more populated tourist areas but has its own little town 5 minute walk away with great restaurants.
