Good sized room with enough space for 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) to be comfortable. Staff very helpful and communication before arrival spot on. Very quiet location in the forest on the edge of Burley. Well stocked bar for a quiet drink in the evening.

This is an unexpected gem! Mark and Sabine were excellent hosts. You can tell they have put so much love and energy into their B&B. The room was impeccable, with lots of thoughtful touches. The bathroom has been renovated to an excellent standard, with some unique features and gorgeous tiles. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice, including for veggies/vegans. We couldn't recommend Moortown Lodge enough.

I loved this place. Highly recommend it. A boutique style venue. We had a lovely dinner that night and the breakfast was amazing. Where else can you stay and horses are wandering around. What an experience.

The complimentary drinks and toiletries were excellent and much appreciated. the breakfast was good with a range of options. we had dinner on the first night which we enjoyed and felt was good VFM. What really sets this hotel apart is the fantastic, quiet location whilst still being accessible to some great locations for day trips.
