This is an excellent property, minutes away from the town center but what sets it apart is the attention to detail and great service We stayed in the cabana, a two-storied cottage next to the main building. It’s a lovely place with a sitting area on the ground level and the bedroom upstairs. The photos of the interior on the website show a luxurious, well-fitted space and the place lives up to this in every way. We were here in end November and the Christmas Tree was up adding a festive touch Food is good and plentiful (Tip: Opt for the Sri Lankan curry and rice) and service is outstanding. A special mention here for Avishka who was exceptional

The host Jayantha who is always with a smile is all out to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. The location is a bit away from mad rush of the Nuwara Eliya town. This makes the place quiet and relaxing. The view is so scenic that makes you completely unwind and relax. The approach road is a bit tough, but then this is a typical Nuwara Eliya road that leads you to the top of the hill and makes such a difference from other stays.

Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. Langdale is a wonderful small Boutique Style Hotel with old world charme. The staff is very attentive and charming. The location is close to the train station Nanu Oya in the middle of tea plantations with stunning views and scenery. Loved our early morning walk through the teaplantation, the temperatures here are very pleasant and we felt like some exercise after some long travel days. We only spend on night to brake the train ride from Ella to Kandy which we thought was perfect. We could have easily stayed a little longer and just enjoyed this peaceful place. Beds were very comfortable and the whole hotel is spotless and perfectly maintained. We had dinner in the hotel, I personally preferred the local choices on the menu to the western style.
