We left for our safari early so sadly did not get to try breakfast, but were very satisfied by the room, and appreciated the warm reception/ extra care the staff gave to our family! While there was no common space (think motel style rooms that spit out onto a outside porch) we were only there one night and it suited our needs well. The safari company was able to pick us up from this location so all worked well.

We stayed longer than planned because we felt so well here that we didn't want to leave... Without exageration, Mahesh is the best host we have ever met in our traveler life, he thinks about everything to make your stay perfect. The house is new and very comfortable, well located near all Sigiriya interest points and in a quiet area but not far from a city and local restaurants. But believe me, you won't need to go to a restaurant... We did one night and we immediately regreted it because the dishes prepared by Mahesh and his wife were way better! Also breakfasts were sooo generous that we didn't even need to have lunch after. We also shared some wonderful personal moments with all the family that we will never forget 🥰 My tips for your stay : - Ask Mahesh in advance if you need the swimming pool ready when you arrive - Have at least one diner there! You won't regret it 😉 - Ask his son Kevin to teach you how to play the local game Carrom, he is a very good player, good luck if you want to beat him! - Don't miss the local shower experience to the lake not far from the house. Mahesh can show you the spot 💪

Tasuta WiFi-ühenduse ja tasuta eraparklaga majutusasutus Holiday Bungalow, Thissawewa asub Anuradhapura kesklinnas, Kumbichchan Kulama Tankist 4,5 km ja Jaya Sri Maha Bodhist 4,7 km kaugusel. The property was very clean, spacious, and in a great location,just a short walk to Thisa Lake and close to the temples. The balcony had beautiful views of nature and a temple in the distance. The staff were friendly and flexible, making our stay very comfortable.

It was a great experience with the good people over there.and also the facilities that they were arranged were fantastic. I like the location and the concept of the owner of the Gimhana Farmstay. Around Gimhana Farmstay you could visit the beautiful NACHCHIYADUWA LAKE about 15 minutes walk.and the Historical Buddhist Temples at Anuradhapura. You could get all the experience in one place of the home stay's and eco. Thank you all the staff who help me to get great vacation at Gimhana Farmstay. Janaka.

The staff here was always friendly, attentive, and willing to assist with any request whether it was arranging transportation, Big clean rooms, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, breakfast is amazing, very near to historical places and temple providing local recommendations, or simply checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. Thank you once again for making our stay so memorable. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Parking available. An electric cooker and cooking utensils available. Fans are there in all the rooms. The owner went ahead to scrape coconut for us. They gave 2 hours grace period for departure. Sufficient electric sockets available.

I had the most incredible stay at The Villa Lakeshore during my 40th birthday, and I can't recommend this place enough! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. A special shoutout to Savidya, who went above and beyond to make my birthday truly memorable. His attention to detail, kindness, and hospitality made me feel right at home. The staff overall was wonderful, but Savidya's efforts were exceptional. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable! I will definitely be back and recommend this gem to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
