The cave room was amazing, the view from the terrace to drink or eat a takeaway meal was gorgeous, the breakfast great… all in all a perfect place to break up a trip from Amalfi coast to Sicily ! One afternoon/ night was good to feel the place. Enough time Great eateries close I would highly recommend a trip to Matera and a stay at il Belvedere

This boutique hotel was exceptional. We rented the room with tub and sauna and it was perfect. Room was even larger than expected and the extras of bathrobe, Epson salts and slippers was a great touch. Breakfast was super, even eggs and bacon for those who like a hot breakfast along with all the usual continental and European pastries and focaccia. The music piped into our room was ultra relaxing too …only wish we’d arrived earlier or first day to enjoy it all more.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, the food was wonderful. When the hostess realised we had to leave crazy early she gave us a little bag of breakfast biscuits to take which was so generous.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The AC was cold and the WiFi fast. We were able to park our car in a lot in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend!

It was our first visit to Rionero and we very much appreciated how welcoming and accommodating Miguel was. The entire staff were pleasant and catered to our every need. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and temperature was comfortable too. Our first night in town, my wife and I had an excellent dinner at La Pergola. Our waiter, Nicola was very attentive and made great suggestions on our menu choices. Two nights later we went for pizza with a local Rionero family and we all raved over the food. Service was outstanding and we were happy the restaurant could accommodate a party of 10 on a Saturday evening with short notice. Each morning we were welcomed with a cappuccino and pastries that were fresh and tasty. We will stay again at La Pergola when we return.

Nothing was too much trouble. Very good value for money for both the hotel and restaurant.

Il Borgo Ritrovato - Albergo Diffuso se nachází v destinaci Montescaglioso. Casa Grotta nei Sassi se nachází 17 km daleko a Matera Cathedral 18 km. I loved everything! The room was so clean, spacious, and authentic. I rented a car to get there from the airport and it was safely parked on the street in front of the hotel. The breakfast consisted of freshly made items and fruit. Coffee (latte, cappuccino, Americano) and juice were served. The staff were exceptional! I worried about being alone in a foreign place. They went above and beyond. Lucia not only made it possible for me to find lost family records in town hall (an amazing feat), but she guided me to friendly, familiar people and places and made me feel like I was home. I can’t wait to go back!
