We stayed two nights end of November and booked a spacious quadruple room on the 3rd floor, which had a mountain view and side view on the castle. Everything was perfect: 1) Very close to the center of the village (there are only a few hotels in such proximity to Gruyeres and Hotel de Gruyeres is the most affordable); 2) hotel is located on the hill, so you do not have to go up from public parking P1, P2 or P3; 3) private parking with 9 places and a couple of places for motorbikes (free of charge); 4) if private parking is full, the car can be parked on P1, P2 or P3 for 10 CHF per day or free of charge between 18:00 and 8:00; 5) room is equipped with a fridge, kettle, safe; 6) fabulous fresh breakfast with a lot of choices; 7) very friendly ladies on reception; 8) wellness center with sauna and hammam (can be booked and ready for use in one hour of heating) and small gym (well equipped); 9) restaurant with a terrace outside with an amazing view; 10) 5 min to the cheese factory and 15 min to chocolate factory by car.

Located in the centre of Charmey, 300 metres from The Gruyère Baths, Résidence le Sapin & Bains de la Gruyère provides guestrooms with free WiFi.

The view from our room was very nice and the hotel is a great location to go for hikes and walks from. We were able to use to spa around the corner for free during our stay, which was great. Breakfast was also included and served downstairs in a lovely tea room. The staff in the tea room were all super friendly. There was also an italian pizzeria downstairs and a few other restaurants on the same street. Lots of places for fondue ! We did the "tour du lac" walk/hike one day from the hotel that was nice (12km 400m+) and also took the télécabine up vounetse.

Very charming, cosy rooms. We had two interconnecting rooms which were perfect for a family of 4. Good location in the centre of the village. Delicious dinner in the restaurant. Again the decor and charm of the place was perfect.

We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful. The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

Located 20 km away from Fribourg, Motel - Hôtel La Poularde is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Romont and the train station.
