The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. The Golden Crown Hotel was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my entire trip through Sri Lanka including Colombo, the north, and other regions. The service, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely exceptional. Everything felt perfectly balanced professional yet genuinely warm. A few people made the experience truly unforgettable. Dananjaya was always helpful, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. He really made my stay more enjoyable with his positive energy. Mlhirini had such a kind and welcoming presence. She constantly made sure I had everything I needed and was always up for a nice conversation. So caring and attentive. Roshan, the manager, is a truly kind person. Under his leadership, the service was simply outstanding. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for real hospitality and excellent service, this is the place. I’ll definitely come back!

The place was fantastic, it was amazing to wake up with the view from the window: forest, river, mountains and sounds of nature only! We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. The stuff was very good, the food was tasty and the house was beautiful

The gym was also a real bonus for a morning workout and stretch.

Everything. From Volker’s welcome tour on. Beautiful buildings, with lovely linens, plants, flowers and great views of the river. Close to Kandy centre but quiet and tranquil. Free tuk tuk drop off to town. Most helpful staff in Sri Lanka. Best dinner in Sri Lanka. Best breakfast and views. Best massage. This is my favorite hotel in Sri Lanka.

Simpson's Forest - Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa - Kandy se nachází v destinaci Kandy a má kola zdarma, venkovní bazén, fitness centrum a zahradu. We had a very pleasant stay at Simpson’s. As usual in Sri Lanka the kindness of the staff is beyond anything. We had a great room with views of the mountains. The infinity pool is breathtaking. We also did one of the hikes that they offered in the morning and learned about the estate. The food does not look like the one advertised but it’s still good. This hotel has by far the fastest WiFi in all of the island. It’s great value for the price!

Aarunya Nature Resort has free bikes and an outdoor swimming pool in Kandy. The property features a fitness centre, as well as a garden. The accommodation provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. When booking this Hotel I thought it looked nice, but that just do not do it justice. The welcome was perfect with an intro massage whilst checking in. The views from the reception are absolutely stunning set in an idyllic location. The staff were incredibly attentive, the room was exceptional with an in nature feel about it being so well positioned and overlooking the nature park. The only noises to hear were nature itself. Wonderful choices for food and drinks both local and international.

Dreamscape home stay se nachází 1,3 km od centra města Kandy a poskytuje zahradu a terasu. Na místě je dostupné bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Toto ubytování bylo naprosto perfektní a srdečně ho doporučuji každému. Každé ráno nás čekala skvělá snídaně – čerstvé ovoce, domácí speciality a výborná káva. To největší kouzlo ale tvořil samotný ubytovatel – neuvěřitelně milý, ochotný a pohostinný člověk, který se postaral, aby nám nic nechybělo. V rámci pobytu jsme využili nabízený výlet tuktukem, který doporučujeme všem. Cítili jsme se tu jako doma. Děkujeme za vše a určitě se někdy vrátíme!
