The private onsen across the street is incredible, I had it to myself every night, and there is an option for breakfast. The room was perfect for two of us, and Papa was so kind to drive us to and from the Myokokogen station and the mountains, and also on some errands which was so kind. It feels like you are stepping into a place that can’t be created, a piece of personality.

It was an amazing hotel close to Niigata station and there are buses just a few steps from Hotel Staff were amazing and kind Room was very big we stayed 7 days first time and then returned back to hotel after visiting Sado island but second time they gave us a tiny room and bathroom was dirty BUT they corrected it and gave us another room which was clean thank you

The staff was VERY helpful in arranging transportation during a fully booked weekend on Sado Island. Goint the extra mile to follow up and get us a spot on an already fully booked bus back from the festival. Nice breakfast buffet, offering a mix of western and Japanese foods. And a bit better than normal expectations for a businessman hotel. Bed was up off the floor for us old folks.

I liked Sado and the Guest Villa so much, I even extended my stay and spend 4 nights. Wish I could have even stayed longer. Where do I start; the house itself is just very pretty already from the outside, but so is the interior. You have a spacious living area with kitchen and a big balcony with ocean view (must be nice in summer) and everything is very tidy and clean. The bathrooms and toilets (several of both) are also clean, modern and with all the necessities you might need. I had the single room which was spacious and the bed was the most comfortable one on my 6 weeks of travelling ☺️ I also used the breakfast option for 500 Yen selfmade everyday and was allowed to use the laundry for free! Second gem about the Villa is Mitsu himself :) he is so kind, engaged, caring and helpful. You can tell that he loves his Hotel and makes an effort for all the details. Location: very good for public transport especially for the south and west of sado. Bus station not even 5 minutes away, Lawson 24/7 not even 10 minutes. takes about 40 minutes from the ferry by bus. You see and hear the ocean all the time 🤗 10/10 recommend. This made my stay really special and I hope to be back soon.

Hotel Yuzawa Yuzawa Denkiya poskytuje bezplatnou kyvadlovou dopravu na 5 minut jízdy vzdálené nádraží Echigo Yuzawa. Nabízí pokoje v japonském stylu s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Amazing value for the price. The onsen was big, had an outdoor onsen ("Rotenburo"), and was typically very quiet; you can have the whole place to yourself. I was working remotely/teleworking in the early morning, and the internet was surprisingly VERY fast. Lawson across the street and 2 diners/izakaya nearby with much cheaper prices than downtown. Frequent hotel buses to nearby results make it easy to stay here and get to nearby ski resorts and downtown Yuzawa without a car. Only downside, the bus service and pick up end a little early at 6pm. They offer lottery-based tickets for Kandatsu and Park Ski resorts for half price, which was fun and cheap!
