Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The onsen and the private tub in the room balcony were amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable and huge. The breakfast was incredible and we also have dinner, which was also amazing, the atmosphere, the food, everything. It was a Awesome experience.

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The hotel went beyond our expectations. Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived to when we checked-out. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and professional, the onsen area is beautiful and has a view over the mountains surrounding the hotel. For breakfast, we opted for the traditional Japanese restaurant and everything was perfect, form the food to the ambience and the location.
