Lovely refurbished hotel - had everything you needed for a great skiing holiday. This is my second visit this year and it just keeps on getting better!!

Rila Hotel Borovets se nachází v srdci prvního horského letoviska na Balkáně - Borovec, 70 km od Sofie. Hotel stojí na konci sjezdovek, pouhých 200 metrů od lanovky. Great facilities (pool, saunas, kids club), very central location, good quality breakfast Also, special thanks to the staff at all stations: front desk, food&beverage, spa, kids camp - all staff members were very professional and friendly. General Manager (Yordan) puts a lot of effort in making guest experience great and run the hotel efficiently.

I wish I could give a "20" for this hotel, but I can only do a "10". Such a well designed place! - Staff - All the staff are awesome and very kind people. They welcomed us with a glass of prosecco at the check-in. We needed a few small things during the stay and everything was served in a very high professional manner. - The hotel is a piece of Art - hand painted doors and windows with bulgarian "shevica" elements. Colorful ceilings in style that comply very well with the Koprivshtica town architecture. Incredible paintings of one of the bulgarian famous artists Peter Mitchev - "Pedro". - The food - We tested most of the dishes from the menu. Everything was so delicious and prepared by the hands of a "Master Chef". A food-art which is a pure pleasure for all of your perceptions. One little remark here to make is that the size of the portions is a little bit smaller, but I assume it is somehow expected for such an experience. However, if you go for a 3 course dinner, it is still completely enough to get you filled. - The SPA - Clean, modern interior, warm water pools, relaxing music... Everything you need for your relaxation. I tried the flotation capsule and it was very refreshing (it is charged additionally). - The Room - Soft and clean sheets with a comfortable mattress (at least for us). They gave us water with coffee and 2 little bottles of red and white wines as a compliment (a bottle is enough for 2 glasses) :). - Prices - We think that the hotel offers prices that are relevant to the quality of the whole experience. It's definitely worth it and will come back again.

The location is perfect — just a few minutes walking to restaurants and the Musala trail. The apartment is fine — nothing special but good for the price and location.

Staff were very helpful, room was warm and cozy, breakfast was made to order and plentiful. We really enjoyed staying here.

Everything, the room design with rotating tv assembly, the cosy lobby, sauna, ski deposit, tasty food, the location just across the street from the ski slope, definitely will come back again!
