Palazzo Gamba is located right in front of Florence's Cathedral. It offers uniquely designed apartments with air conditioning and fully equipped kitchenette. Everything but of course location was the best thing.

Set on the corner of Piazza Signoria and just a few steps from the Uffizi Gallery, Relais Piazza Signoria is housed in a historical building and offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Difficult to imagine a better location in Florence, but beside this quite objective fact we were very satisfied by how well were were taken care of, starting with the car valet service, the reception at the hotel or the helpfulness regarding e.g. suggestions for restaurants. the hotel does not offer breakfast but for 14 EUR you get a voucher for the impressive buffet at the bargello restaurant just downstairs (believe me, it`s worth it, both for the quality of the food and the personnel)

The location was great - very easy walk to the central market, museum, the duomo, and tons of restaurants. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Great mattresses - including on the pullout mattress. The staff, Saman, was incredibly hospitable, greeting us warmly and making sure we had all that we needed.

Very helpful staffs as per Steve and Sophia, they are very lovely and helped me a lot during this stay. The equipments inside the room is fantastic like a castle, we do very love this hotel, like an art gallery indeed, they even provide some large locker for deposit luggage, well recommend!

Just far enough outside the city, just close enough to walk in or catch the No 6 or No 17 bus into or out of the city. Our host Martina was very helpful & kept in touch to ensure all was well. I'd recommend this stay to family and friends. Can't say more than that really.
