Situated in Folkestone and with Folkestone Beach reachable within 600 metres, Westward Ho Hotel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property...

Reception was eventually fine but there was noone present when we arrived. The hotel was tired and our potentially pleasant room needed redecoration.

Alkham is a quiet little village with only the pub, church and park. Perfect to get away when you need A break. The food is to die for! The drinks options are amazing and the staff now how to look after you. Dover and Folkestone are between 10-15 minutes away and easy access to everything. Hidden Jem!

A very pretty Church - a very busy main road with very fast traffic & it was late in the day so we didn’t venture very far! A few walks were visible from the road but walking bouts required on the day of our visit.

The staff very friendly , nice atmosphere in the pub, warm and cosy , nice open fires . Would have preferred home made fries with our meal rather than frozen as the rest of the meal was a very good standard . Toast in the morning ok but again packet bread rather than fresh un cut loaf, let it down for the standard of the pub .

Spent one night in the hotel, the pub downstairs serves very good quality food, better than the average pub, breakfast was extensive, and again a very good quality. The room was comfortable, it was a bit warm but the air conditioning is very effective, outside there was a gentle hum from the air-conditioning unit of the kitchen. Cleanliness was good, although we did notice the toilet was not clean where the water comes out.

The hotel/Inn was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It had a very plush feel to it. We only had the breakfast as ate out with other members of the family. The breakfast was of good quality and offered a decent range although I should have liked porridge or granola. The coffee was a bit weak but then I like it strong. The staff were very friendly and were always on hand to help.

Staff super friendly, room was an unexpected delight and very comfortable. We tend to always stay at the more corporate hotels near the tunnel but this stay has made us rethink and would certainly stay here in preference in future. Breakfast was also delicious and we took advantage of the lovely bar the night before:)
