This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

Kameya Hotel se nachází v destinaci Curuoka a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Kamo Aquarium je 3,5 km daleko. Amazing history and gardens. Rooms were enormous, with open views of the beach and with a cedar bathtub fed by hot springs in the room.

Great all inclusive especially for beer enthusiasts. The room had a lot of space even with the futons laid out. We enjoyed the open air bath in the room and the private onsen. The meals were fantastic especially the dinners.

Yuze Hotel se nachází v destinaci Kazuno a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 38 km odtud je Lyžařské středisko Appi Kogen. The dinner was amazing - there was a station where the staff prepares a small dish on the spot for you. The onsen was eye-opening to say the least. It is located beside a stream / forest, and it was refreshing to soak in the onsen while listening to the stream flow by.

Takasagoya Ryokan se nachází v destinaci Zao Onsen v regionu Yamagata. Jen 200 metrů odtud je Lyžařský rezort Zao Hotsprings. The breakfast and dinner is traditional Japanese and is excellent and value for money. The dinner was especially sumptuous and was more than expected. It had a small onsen and for the more adventurous you can also use on of the 3 public onsen that was only steps away from the front door. It's exceptionally close to the ski lift - easily walkable even with gear.

Okawaso se nachází v Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km od Aizu Higashiyama Onsen, a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a restauraci. Všechny pokoje v tomto ryokanu jsou klimatizované a vybavené TV. To make it simple, everything! The staff is very careful, we feel the will to do well and the Japanese know-how! The room was just amazing, the view breathtaking! The dinner was amazing too, the dishes scroll non-stop for 1 hour, special mention to the waitress who took care of us she was more than perfect! We ended our evening with a private onsen, as a couple, it was perfect Thanks to the staff for doing such a good job

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Excellent hospitality and amazing dinner and breakfast, you cannot be disappointed

Aoni Sanso se nachází v destinaci Senboku a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a barem. Nyuto Onsen je 7,6 km daleko. great private onsen and delicious food

Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya se nachází 15 minut chůze od stanice JR Tendo a 50 km od Sendai. Nabízí přírodní termální koupele. Everything, from the food to the room. I booked the smallest room which I did not know that there is a private onsen. My meals were in a separated room which I feel is better than having inside my own room. This hotel is worth staying for the experience. There are guests around but I was surprised to not hear any noises. I felt like I was being served as a royalty. The sake that I had, does not have any alcohol smell, it tasted so good and it had a cherry taste to it. I enjoyed the private outdoor onsen and I regretted not trying the public onsen. Also, breakfast usually starts at 730am but I had a train to catch, the hotel offered to serve breakfast at 7am. I was already awake at 5am to enjoy the onsen for the last time. My dinner was at 6pm which was the earliest timing.
