Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, IceHotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)

Offering free spa and gym entrance and a modern restaurant and bar, this hotel is centrally located in Luleå, just 300 metres from Luleå Central Station. We were lucky enough to get a complementary upgrade to a mini suit, so the room was huge and we definitely enjoyed it. The stuff was very polite and friendly. Relax was also nice and clean.. The location was also very central so we could walk around the city center.

Offering a popular á la carte restaurant and turn of the century ambiance, the historical Haparanda Stadshotell features a sauna, bar and free WiFi access. The Torne Älv River is 300 metres away. The hotel shows off its historic roots really well with lots of pictures and artifacts and salons to view. The rooms are updated and comfy without losing any charm.

This newly opened hotel is located in the very centre of Luleå and features unique photo art, seasonally inspired designs and free access to the on-site fitness centre. Exceptional reception staff and superb dinner and breakfast were available and appreciated.

Tento tichý hotel sídlí ve zrekonstruovaném panském sídle z konce 19. století a nabízí bezplatnou relaxační část s vířivkou, saunou a krbem. I cannot fault the hospitality of the staff, they were some of the most welcoming and helpful people I've ever met. The room was large and comfortable with a bathroom to match it. A lovely breakfast to start off the day with a selection of drinks. Fuel station near by for the car and plenty of shops just beyond for a look around.

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. Location is very convenient Amenities and tours are superb Breakfast and the lunch at the restaurant is sumptuous Views from the room and around the camp are very good

This historic hotel is located in central Piteå, only 5 minutes’ walk from the bus station. It offers a restaurant and on-site gym. WiFi is free in all rooms. Piteå Stadshotell was built in 1906. Dostal jsme pokoj v nejvyšším patře. Pokoj byl pěkný a čistý. Postel pohodlná. Možnost parkování u hotelu. Příjemný personál.

Overlooking Stadsparken and the North Harbour, this hotel is situated on Luleå’s main street, Storgatan. It offers free WiFi and gym access and a popular breakfast buffet. We had a good stay, the accommodation was comfortable, breakfast was nice and the treatment from the hosts was very welcoming. It’s also truly pet-friendly, which we really appreciated.
